  • george carlin died as the number one comedian, but why are u guys discussing that on this video?

its a lewis black interview. even carlin appreciated and honored blacks work. just listen to the 92nd street Y interview he did on yt

  • best HBO special....now come on.We all love Lewis but did you forgot who was George Carlin???

  • @AtanasovPeter Just an opinion, doesn't mean it's a fact man.

  • @davesqueakywheels You tell me that the father of comedy George Carlin is not better than Lewis Black??

  • @AtanasovPeter That's not what I was implying lol. I misread your statement, but even saying that Carlin is the father of comedy is also an opinion. I think he's one of the greatest, and I love listening to him but he finished behind Richard Pryor for a reason. Also don't forget Lenny Bruce's influence or dudes like Cosby or Dick Gregory.

  • @davesqueakywheels There isn't a person in comedy that can match the level of sophistication of the language or the jokes themselfs of Carlin. He took comedy into another world. And plus he was the most creative comedian i have listened to and the volume of his work is incredible i watched all his HBO specials they are around 14 or 15 :D i feel pain in my jaw and stomach when i listen to him.As most comedian say the holy trinity is George Carlin,Richard Pryor and Lenny Bruce

  • @AtanasovPeter Plus Lewis would still be playing @ shitty comedy clubs and cafes without George Carlin, so I know about him.

  • wish i could talk to him in person, he sounds great. in a sense.

  • great interview.
