Fantastic dress, enough 80's over the top style to not make you barf like Diana's dress. I will say I did not like the flower crown she had that the beginning, but considering the dress is beautiful I will forgive her. And dang Andrew was definitely the best looking sibling.

Thank you for posting! This was my first royal wedding seen on TV as a kid. (I was too young to see Diana's). I loved seeing a real life "princess" getting married and I LOVED her dress!

Why was this wedding held at Westminster Abbey as opposed to St .Pauls Cathederal ?

@WDI2008 Most royal weddings of higher ranking members of the family are held at Westminster Abbey. The wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales was held at St. Pauls because supposidly it held more people. Also, all coronation of the king/queen are performed at Westminster Abbey.

@WDI2008 because andrews lower on the ladder in terms of heir to the thrown, so his wedding wasn't as important as the heir to the thrown so in turn a smaller cathederal :)
