@leox747 Verissimo, infatti la perdita di posizione è con tutta probabilità causata dal precedente, piccolissimo ingarbugliamento, non certo da lacune tecniche, figurarsi che spesso si ingarbugliano perfino gli italiani. Il buon Gioacchino aveva un decisamente il vizietto dello scioglilingua e di tirare il collo ai cantanti, in particolare a bassi e baritoni... ;p

Lloyd in quel momento avrà pensato: "mannaggia all'italiano e a Rossini!" xD

I have heard "La calunnia" being sung the great bass opera singer Samuel Ramey. For the longest time, that was the only singer who give the rendition for me. However, after hearing this gentleman all I can say is that he gives Ramey a run for the money. Bravo! Magnifico! That voice is truly gifted. Wish I could sing like that.
