  • Hey NeuesZeil, I am wondering if you can make a pre-shading and post shading tutorial?

  • @MrNeonSoul Well I don't have that much spare time on my hands right now but... I'll consider it! ;)

  • Ein super Clip. Wenn ich mich nicht irre Kannst du das auch auf Deutsch. Also bleibt nur eine Frage. Warum nicht ?

  • @Modellbastler Danke! Naja, es können mehr leute englische Videos verstehen als anders rum... leider fehlt mir auch die Zeit überhaupt Videos aufzunehmen...

  • THANKS! IT TAKES TIME AND PRACTICE TO GET A GOOR VIDEO AND THIS ONE IS EASY AND TAKES ITS TIME. IT'S A FINE INTRO TO PHOTO ETCHED PARTS!

  • @cackiebongeye Thanks for the feedback, although I will say that I am currently endorsed by Cheap-Sheep Lighters. ;)

  • great tutorial I enjoyed it very much ,although i have been using etch for many years you put new spin on a few techniques ,one i would like to share with you if you dont mind ,is when you say the excess brass ileft from the fret is very difficult to remove ,i found a really easy way ,if you use some wet or dry sand paper about 1000 grade, the grey stuff, and sand the edge of the part it works right through the brass nub left behind in no time, :-)

  • @binloadon Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it! I used to always try to sand the excess off but I guess I used sandpaper that was too rough. I'll try the wet finer grit next time, thanks!

  • Cool. Kannte ich nicht. Da werd ich mir glecih mal etwas Neo Sol aus Modellbauladen holen gehen ^^

    Danke!

  • Very informative video! I have yet to use photo etched parts, but have been looking into them for added detail. Wouldn't the term for the wooden cylinders be dowels? I have tools for bending aluminum from work.. i should see if it would work like this.

  • @cadderly I guess, I don't script my videos and plus my English is far from perfect ;). There's so many neat detail sets in PE out there on the military market that would work nicely for gundams as well.

  • @NeuesZiel Yea meant no offense by the correction. ^_^ I've been checking around for some nice detail PE parts, just stocking up on supplies for when i start my Dendrobium project.

  • @cadderly Sites like Lucky Model and Hobby Easy have great PE selections. Lots of stuff to chose from.

  • Those are somethings I didn't know. You should name these method

  • but what if i dont have lighters with small sheeps and sunshine balloons on them!?!?

haha jokes, Great tutorial man, this was very informative and very well put together. Learned a lot from this. Love the way you attach the tiny pieces bro. Very innovative

  • @kamniks Well if you don't have a cute lighter then you're screwed! Thanks, I also use this technique to attach very small plastic pieces to the bamboo skewers for painting... Neo Sol + toothpick.

  • you need to make some videos with the five star story resin kits
