I don't think it was curved fire, the shells just detonated above the targets, spraying the pellets down.

Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure that we're buying the cannon from this and the smart rounds for our M2 Bradley and/or the Stryker, and I think our navy is going to employ these on some of their smaller littoral combat ships...I think(I saw it on "futureweapons")

The Puma maby better protected than the CV90 but the Puma only has a 30mm autocanon and the CV90 has a 40mm...the winner in fire power is the CV90 :)

This is the perfect combat vehicle for attacking white mini vans, blue doors, pole mounted helicopters and cardboard troops. They don't stand a chance against this thing. Oh YEA!

...in case you didn't understand, the mini vans were an analog for unarmored vehicles commonly used by militias and terrorists, the leaning "blue doors" were armour plating of thickness commonly found in light combat vehicles similar to the CV90 itself, the helicopter dummy on a pole were in every way similar to a real, low flying helicopter without actually flying, and the barrels and cardboard figures were fine targets to represent troops.

But apart from my flippancy earlier, I do see the value in more precise firepower to end conflicts more quickly... in the event that reasonable diplomatic efforts fail to avoid having to come to a battlefield resolution in the first place. I, too, would rather that such resources be put to wholly peaceful ends, but the world's clashing cultures have indicated to me that this is not feasible.
