hehe this brings back memories. those mumakil can be quite annoying especially their stomp attack, you can easily beat those with either have Elegost use Paralyzing shot or have Berethor use Stand fast

i remember in a certain place in pelenor 2 mumakils would spawn :D would be the hardest fight in the game for high lvl characters but i still won easily enough. Overall though the fight in Osgiliath where you fight that orc chief was the hardest in the game for me. Good times, good times...

Helm's Deep with the Beserkers is the hardest part of the game because they can stun you and are hardly hittable (and move often).

The best way is to make Valinor Endurance with Idrial : they'll attack Idrial since she can't be damaged (after they've lowered your friends HP). The party can attack the ennemies at will, and Idrial will only be able to use items.

Helm's Deep, ending :

She'll probably get stunned. The beserkers and the troll will still attack her because she'll always have the most HP and the party will take them down. Still, do an Aura of the Valar on Idrial only, just in case.

Thats not saying much thou becase ff 12 sucks ! the boss fights in lotr the 3 rd age are really good ! haha how is it? u get weapons in a terrible order i.e u get a good one early on then right near the end of the game u are getting worse ones.u get weapons at a ridiculous rate i.e. u get 3 weapons in ten minutes then none for another ten hours. also its piss easy and u dont need any of the good moves to complete the game.

rsnwbshow i know what part your stuck on i got stuck for a day on that part but i figured a way to beat it just keep fighting in the court yard that leads to the mess hall as most people call it train for about 2 hours then go down and fight the three battles that await p.s keep your good items for the last fight u'll need it and only use aragons highest lv attack on the middle guy on the first battle also u get alot of good items when u train. good luck

after you beat the game, get all the pro items from evil mode and save them in a new file. then own the 1st half of the game. 1 hit ko to orcs and 7+ hit ko to balrog =] pretty fun to do that

I just started playing this again and remember why I quit. You get one shot, miss, and the enemy gets about 7. Once you hit the second disc, the bullshit becomes unbearable. I completely agree with you, man. This game is unbalanced as hell and needed to be tested a lot more before releasing it.

When you are on the turn of the character you want to switch out, press L1 and select the character you want to switch in. Easy as that. Unfortunately, you can only switch during a battle. As additional knowledge, if you press L1 in outside of battle, you can change the party leader. The party leader is who you control outside of battle and who gets the experience when you complete a mission.

i got all my attacks and spirit of all characters learned in the plains of rohan.

i trained hard in eastern moria and the east-emnet gullies. helmsdeep was very easy for me, since i learned EVERYTHING. that is my advice, just train a lot

u must get idrial to learn aura of he valar it makes u revive after dying. keep on doing it and i promise u a 95 % chance of wining all fights exept monsters that dispell u

hadhod and idrial arent useles eoden is useles. remember 2 use hadhod's mountain shield or stone shield for extra protection

other tip is equip idrial with a spirit stone u can get it playing western or eastern moria in evil mode... try it for loudwater fury with a 3000 or 5000 damage...

This is a really underrated game, It was very difficult, but I beat it about last year.

People gave it alot of bad reviews and that's BS because this game is not as bad as people say. It's really really really fun with an original LoTR storyline

the only thing I dint like was that you cant really get two like a super high lv. Because once u get two the part right before u fight the eye there not really any good battles two travle back and try and lv up more. Cause ive tryed so many times two reach the highst possible lv with all my chacters and unlock all there powers but so far I havent been able two.
