  • Awesome video, nice, concise and really helpful. Cheers RaeArt!

  • thanks !!

  • My god, u have a steady hand!

  • You're an amazing artist. I've been experienced with art since I was very young, and you really do make it look so easy. I'm very envious.

  • @Multinfested thank you! yes lots of practice helps///lol I was creating art when I was very wong as well...always loved it...still do! cheeeeeers!!!

  • @raeart hi can i find out what you use to outline your painting (the final outline in black)? thanks!!!

  • @sabsay i use a black permanent marker which I got at the dollar store. You can use any markers you like....Sharpies are good too!

  • we would all like to see the following video in the future: How to make textures with acrylics in abstract paintings

  • @OoNBSoO possibility!

  • Very helpful

  • when i blend my acrylics it doesn't turn out good... maybe I should try liquitex?

  • @ribubbles yes there is a difference with higher end acrylic paints like liquitex...more fluid and covers areas well.

  • :D

  • @wallwindowdoor my thoughts exactly :)

  • you are AMMMMMMAAAAAZINGGGG!!!!

  • This is great! Thanks for sharing! Do you use paint thinner or anything like that? Your paint looks so fluid and seems to stay wet for a bit, which mine never does.

  • @XofHope no i use water to thin out the paint....using liquitex soft body acrylic paints.

  • @raeart Thank you. I don't have much to choose from where I live but I've been wondering if I should order on-line; the paint I use (Rembrandt) is always so thick and makes it hard to work with. Is Liquitex really worth trying? I'd have to order it from abroad.

  • @XofHope i love liquitex paints....make sure to get the SOFT BODY paints, they are more fluid then Heavy Body...good luck!

  • @raeart Thanks! I'll be ordering some soon and I'm really looking forward to try them out.

  • honestly i don't like that kind of art but u make it look great~ :D

so i kinda like it now \(^,^)/

  • You have saved my life.

  • This is amazing :) The painting is quite unique

  • I'm a regular sketch artist, and I even don't color them in. I did once but tore it up cause I was un happy with it. I've tried panting at school, but cut it up and got expelled for it. I keep thinking about painting, but never seem to get the full motivation. I love your vids, they help with my ideas. but just cant seem to attack the canvas yet

  • Do you ever wash your brush? I'm going to try this technique for my Art project at school. It's my last year & last praq so I want to really try hard :D

  • what did you use to line your canvas? the black outline i mean.

  • @023chelsea i used a permanent black marker...i get them from the dollar store...or a sharpie would do the trick too.

  • Great video. I've been using acrylic a while, and I always like watching other peoples techniques. You did a fabulous job dude, great work. Keep up the good work.

  • i always start so ambitious and lose my motivation halfway through paintings. I have dozens of unfinished canvases lying around my room! :( your videos are really inspiring me to try again :)

  • @wallwindowdoor well hopfully you will get enough inspiration to try it again....good luck! keep creative!

  • @wallwindowdoor

I am the same i have all these great ideas of what to draw and how to draw it but then when i go to draw it dont seem to work out the way i want to :D

  • thanks a lot for the how to on blending! i never get that right. i will try your tips out as soon as i have time~

  • what kind of paper do you use

  • @ggeek101 It's not paper, its canvas.

  • amazing, my friend, love your work

  • Thanks for the tips! :)

  • You make it look so easy

  • cool darryn!

another blending tip for peeps living in hot weather countries (like aust, etc) is to add some blending medium and/or keep a spray water bottle near by like i do, at all times.

its the only way we can blend colours here!

    cheers mate

  • @Cre8iveSignWorks true that! thanks for mentioning it...cheers! I see the warm weather coming around the corner over here...lovin it!

  • Thank you so much for that tip!! It's always been the toughest thing for me to blend colors and to get some shading. You are awesome Raeart!
