@thepooper2010 doesn't he use his finger when slapping? Id imagine he proabaly shifts the pick to inactive fingers then back when hes done slapping?

@Halliday7895 well, you can't slap with a pick, that negates the point of it being called 'slap' ..what i meant was that i noticed he was finger picking instead of using a pick, but i've never seen him play without a pick except for slapping. so, once again, i noticed that INSTEAD OF USING A PICK, HE WAS USING HIS FINGERS

Takes me back.. to a cosmic daydream of a time. Wasn't there, but graduated high school in NH in 86. Possum would have been my last phish song live (Alpine Valley 04) but they added the Hampton show so my last was David Bowie. When they busted into Possum for the encore, I ran doen to the front reserved section, hopping over seats and found myself in the 4th or 5th row. actually left my shoes behind.. Just for that moment in time, I was totally ok with it being over.. but now, I gently weep.
