  • Great job. Actually it is difficult to play in keys other than G-dur on such bandura, as you have to pluck semitones on the upper row of the stings. Concert instruments have special mechanics, which allow you play almost in all keys on the main row. Anyway, keep playing!:) Let me know if you need any advice, bandura scores or any other related material. Would be a pleasure to help.

Thanks. Not sure why you're pointing out it's hard to play stuff that isn't in G?.. This isn't in G... and I'm aware of what the rows are like, I have the instrument... but again thanks for compliments. I work out all the song's on here by ear though what source of Bandura scores do you have then? I may be trying to learn 'The Boat Is On The Waves' from the 'Bandura Chorus Part 2' video on youtube but the vocals make it hard to hear Bandura sometimes...

  • hooooly shit, that's awesome, dawg!!

I concur, there's so many different versions of it too, if you search it's Ukrainian name you shall find. Am in love with this Ukrainian Bandurist Folk Music.
