  • Star Gate Atlantis rocks! I didnt see this epi.

  • Wow it docks so slowly and precisely must be very tedious to wanna dock Atlantis into the ISS

  • ok i know alot about space and enganiring but i have been woundering why cant you see any stars from the clips they show i know there is a logical answer maybe i will google it but if anyone knows can you answer it

  • @kirbyroxy

During orbital daytime, it is simply because of the light from the sun. Just like here on Earth, the stars simply cannot outshine the sun.

During orbital night, they ARE visible, but no to low-res cameras like the ones used here. The human eye and HD cameras can see them.

  • i wish i still have the chance to go to ISS when i become astronaut when i grow up

  • Now after this we have to hitch hike. And hope for a ride to space, to send our shipments to the ISS.

  • Nice footage. Show me the process for "capture confirmed," and the other terms. A simulation visual maybe?

  • Was watching this live on NasaTV about 2 hours ago. Real something when you consider that this is the last time in the forseeable future that you see a shuttle docking- and I was just reclining in my chair on a typical night packing my bag! Bless all those folk who make things happen! On another note, is there a special docking port for the shuttle, or can it technically dock at any port?

  • 1/10 foot? Do as the rest of the universe. Use the metric system! :) Jokes aside. Great work you at Nasa do. Keep it up!

  • is there a place you can see live the status of the mision or what they are currently doing?

  • @bdcp NASATV

  • @bdcp Google for NASA TV and the link will take you directly to the live broadcast.

  • @bdcp nasa.gov
