If you suspect your child has autism, consider postponing any further vaccinations. Many vaccines (esp the flu shot) have thimerasol which contains mercury. Also, consider postponing further vaccinations for siblings. Then take some time to look into it so you can make an informed choice ... it's also likely that your children will still be able to attend school, just ask for a waiver
@MsPollywogg There is no link between vaccines and autism. That theory was discredited a few years ago. If you read the research there was no evidence to link vaccines and autism. This is a sad case of a doctor trying to become famous by scaring uneducated parents. By uneducated I mean, lacking a formal medical education.
@dinky590 actually it has not been discredited only not proven... I can not stand when people only give one side of the situation... I am saying this for those anti vac too, Our previous pediatrician gave us printouts about how vaccines and autism were not linked and sent us on our way, I could have gone home and printed him just as many that were anti vaccine and had "proof" discrediting his info.
@dinky590 To my knowledge no one has proved it either way, and many people think that anyone who is anti-vaccine thinks that the vaccines gave their child Autism when what they are really trying to say is that they believe their child reacted to the vaccines and now show signs of Autism
