  • Love your tutorials and bows!! I Like Big Bows sent :)

  • is it possible to put a hair tie instead of a clip?? how would i do that if it were possible

  • lovely

  • I see the elephant and made it it's soooo cute... What about a giraffe? Can you make one of those? In a clipie? Thank you

  • I can't wait to make my daughter a bow. I have a question though. She is an infant and obviously can't wear a clip. How would I make it for an infant? Just an alligator clip and a headband?

  • Thanks...So cool that you're showing us how to do this at no cost!!! Very sweet bow and can't wait to give it a try. You're right not difficult but sure is nice being shown how to do it...:)

  • i love you! im totally subscribing!

  • Hi can u do a cheer bow? I have my school colors in ribbon and I don't have idea for a middle schooler bow. So any ideas ? Thanks!

  • I just was wondering, where do you get all your hair clips that you attach on the back of the bows?

  • @beautyideas2 Hobby Lobby is where I get mine.

  • @sharikay2006, she DOES tell how to fasten it together "secure them together with a dot of hot glue and also secure by wrapping together with thread"

  • so pretty(:

  • What good is it to show us a pinwheel bow and not showing how you fastened it together?

  • @sharikay2006 all bow parts (tutorials) for this bow are found in the description box as stated in the video

  • @mommycraftsalot your description boxes are BLANK

  • @Elle1540 No, I just checked. The description box is full of links and info....(The description box is below the video) If you are referring to the annotations in the video (Yes, they look blank but if you click them they will also take you to a video tutorial). Hope that helps...

  • love this video!! The only thing is is that I would love to make bows like the base bow but it uses up waaay to much ribbon. do u get ur ribbon with just a few yards each or do you buy the ones that has like 10 or 20 yards? do u also know any good websites you can buy lots of ribbon from for cheap??

  • Pretty bows. I think you heat seal them way too much. They're curved and black. Also if you fold your ribbon in half and cut it at a diagonal, you can make your v cuts come out perfectly. It's so much easier than judging where you cut and have to do it twice. Im not being critical. I just think it helps everyone to share and learn from each other.

    Love your name!!!

  • Thanks so much!!! =)

  • thanx cant wait to make one :)

  • Love this! What would you recommend to increase the size of the overall bow? How many inches extra for each bow? Also would this work with satin or do you think it would be to flimsy? Thanks so much!!

  • MANY THANKS!! You're GREAT!!

  • MANY THANKS!! You're GREAT!! Muchas gracias!!!

  • I need to know the length of ribbon for the base bow!!!!!!

  • HELP...i made this bow...and its like 3inches thick lol

  • what are the different thickness of all the different ribbons?

  • ok...so i think i cant make the boutique hair bow's but....there is always one loop that looks flat is there anyway to fix it or give me a technique??

  • @beaaguilar123 I have the same problem!

  • Awesome! going to try this. I am terrible at pinching the pleats in the piwheels~ got to work on it~ these take a lot of ribbon... if you were to sell one of this style and quality... how would you price it? I havee a 3 year old girl and another girl due in 83 days!! So, may years of bow making ahead for me :)

  • Awesome video

  • Thank you so much for uploading these! You are making all this look very easy! I hope that it is because I am super psyched Bout getting started! Hah! Thanks for putting these on YouTube ;) really appreciate it!

  • I really appreciate your videos! You make it seem so easy. I've made some super cute halloween ones for my niece :)

  • I might have missed it, but what width ribbon did you use for the pinwheel part?

  • @mommycraftsalot...thanks for your response, I was so curious to figure that out! I want to make the bows last as long as I can and I want to use them now and when my daughter is older (she's only 9 months now with no hair so all her bows go onto headbands). Thanks again, I love watching your videos!

  • @mommycraftsalot....I understand but when watching some other videos I noticed that the alligator clips are partially lined. Is ther a secret I'm unaware of? Does it hold better in the hair?

  • @angelstrength01 Gotcha, It's just preference. If I am making them for a baby with little hair then I will line the entire clip. If I make it for bigger girls then I will leave the bottom unlined because it's easier to slip in the hair. I find that if they are fully lined when I put them in my daughter's hair, it tugs at the hair. I will include this question in this weekend's TIPS video.

  • What is the benefit of partially lining the clip? I have always fully lined them...teach me! :)

  • @angelstrength01 The halloween bow is on a fully lined french barrette....the only thing not covered is the closure.

  • I love your tutorials! I want to run out to the store and get ribbon and make bows like crazy! I don't think they'd look right on my son though, haha. But really I'm going to make some. I never knew they were so simple.

  • I can't wait to try making one of these for my little girl. You make the prettiest bows & are so talented. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. I hope mine turn out as great as yours!!!

  • Okay thank you very much! I hope mine turns out just as wonderful as yours!

  • I love this tutorial thank you for sharing it! I did have one question for the pinwheel bow in this for the orange, purple and green what size ribbon did you use? I am going to try and make it but I want to get the same size you used :)

  • @mytwolovebugs85 I used 7/8 inch ribbon for this one. I usually do 1.5 inch and then a layer of 7/8 inch but this is just the colors I had on hand. Have fun!

  • You are an answered prayer! Thank you so much for sharing your God-given talents with the rest of us. May the Lord bless you and keep you!

  • @blo126 I hope this helps you!

  • I love love your videos! It helps me a lot! More blessings!!

  • It's such a beautiful bow. I just did my first bow clip today for my daughter and her friends for my girl's birthday party. Of course, mine are just little clips that cannot be compared to yours. But, hope that I can make something grand like this one in the future.

  • Love your bows...I am new at this as I will have 3 grand baby girls by January 2012! YES THREE!!! lol I am enjoying learning to make differnt girly things for them and I have learned so much from watching you!. Thank you

  • love it

  • I love your bows they are so pretty. Wish I could make them I gave no craftiness in me. Love your videos :)

  • Don't know if I'm supposed to comment this video or the other so I will comment both! I Love you videos and I love how easy they are to follow! Thanks!

  • That is freaking adorable! i love it!!! :P

  • Do you have a tutorial on big competition cheerleading bows? I don't mean the smallerish ones but the HUGE ones :P with layered-stuck-together ribbon and big ribbon. If you don't have a tutorial can you please make one when you get a chance? I'm not trying too be forceful or anything. ;D

  • @randomagdolls I will try to get one done before baby gets here. I know what you are talking about.

  • I always love your tutorials! : ) I've been making bows for a couple of years, so I know how to make all the pieces, but I always love watching tutorials. ...When you do your V's, its also fast and easy when you fold the end in half and then cut an angel. That way they come out pretty even with one another. : )
