  • ugh i know sheee feeeeelllsssss! -_____-

    sucks!

  • Wow... Thank you for Sharing this... I Too have MS, and can relate <3

  • My Mom has MS. It mostly affects her right leg, but sometimes it affects her vision, or makes her shake. Lately she can barely walk, and she's always in pain. She also has a slipped disk in her back, and she had rectal cancer that required an operation where a piece of her intestines was sticking out of her stomach. That was sewn back up, but she still has lots of stomach/intestinal problems.

I love her and care about her so much. She never gets to go out or be with friends. I would do anything

  • @QuintessentialQuirk

If your mom has it beware you might get it too, it's now being linked to a new retrovirus called XMRV which infects the brain which makes your body send cytokines to your brain to fight the virus resulting in brain lesions, and yeah XMRV is a retrovirus which means becomes part of your DNA so if you mom got before you were born you might have it as well..don't mean to scare but it's true..

  • At that time, my sister had been dealing wth MS for about 16 yrs, but she and I had never really discussed what it was like for her. When I started having those symptoms, I called her and told her what I was experiencing. She is on a good rapport with her MS specialist, so she emailed him about it. He emailed her back, telling her that I needed an MRI, ASAP. So we did that, and he diagnosed me with MS.

MS is now being linked to the new retrovirus called XMRV and if your sister has it and you do now as well most likely you both got it from your mom it's really a virus attacking your brain with sends cytokines to your brain the fight the virus which causes inflammation resulting in brain lesions..

  • My hand would never be quite that bad, but it was frustrating trying to do homework or take notes when I was going to college. Suddenly unable to control or even grasp the pen. A few times I was tempted to just throw it across the room, felt like crying. I didn't know what was going on. (I was thinking maybe carpal tunnel.) I already had the fatigue. Then a few months later my feet and legs started going numb and I was having trouble walking.

  • Had a neighbor with MS who went through SCC International (407) 610-4248 who coordinated a medical evaluation by an Asian doctor. They had to travel to an overseas treatment center, but their condition totally REVERSED. it was incredible.

  • WTF WAS THIS ? I have MS too , Get while you can boy's !!!

  • i was diagnosed at the age of 16, and i rmember whilst taking notes from the blackboard in school, without noticing it my pen would drop out of my hand . it was a scary experience,. eventually i got the strength ;in my hand back

  • Good to hear!

  • that was my third flare up ...it sucked....ur not alone buddy

  • seriously looking at this stressed me out

  • I have a question. I've had symptoms of MS, but I'm not sure. My eye hurt for a day. It was a sharp dull pain behind my eye that hurt when I looked up. Also twice I've had uncontrolled tremors through my legs when I stood still. I've had prickling feelings in my fingers and sometimes my feet.Sometimes I feel like my arms are shaking slightly. So what do you think? When I was younger I had a movement disorder, but it was different. It was like I was riding a bike. This is more like it's vibrating.

  • there are a lot of neurological conditions. MS takes some time to confirm. For me it was a few months. Primarily an MRI, possibly a spinal tap, a few others. If you do have MS, getting treatment early is important. Knock on wood, I'm still functioning.. perhaps because I did receive treatment upon DX. Good luck to you loli.

  • i could hold the pen or pencil but can't write sucks!!

  • MS sketch comedy? Come to my page and check out some MS themed sketch comedy starring and directed by a fella with MS. We all could use a good laugh about our situation couldn't we!

  • omg,you r so young! i am going through this right now 5th relaps since oct 2006 29 years old

when my left hand does what yours just did(locks up-sharp pains-sriffness-needles & pins) good luck to you:)

  • that happened to me while i was at school. i had to get many accomodations through the disability services and so i got a helper to take notes for me... im better now...

  • :(.. i was just diagnosed with MS today

  • Very sad to hear this....you sound young, many years to live....you should consider tysabri as its supposed to be the strongest drug, its the only MS drug ever given reimbursement by the UK government, it just happened this week. Even if people are not relapsing, the myelin sheaths in the brain are threatened at all times, and so the younger are it would seem that you should get the best protection. I hope this note will help give you a new approach. Sincere best wishes.

  • I was diagnosed about 2 years ago.....hope you are doing ok.....have you started any type of drug treatment?....just wanted you to know, you are not alone, like I felt.....

  • happens to me almost everyday several times...

  • ive had this happen to my feet
