@sandmanXG I swear man! Before I started to play taptap I wasn't even into the new MCR but now it made me realized that they have a strong comeback. I listen to NaNaNa before this and didn't really like it but after playing this countless times.....I LOVE IT. MCR is moving up on my list.

This was the third song they performed in the BBC Radio 1 sessions (w/ Zane Lowe obviously lol) So Gerard's voice must have been worn out :) They put so much into everything they sing/play

@Jackopleb Gerard I agree, Gerard needs to protect his voice against the strain of touring. He also said that singers never have long careers (He said that a few years ago).

@Jackopleb As a professional singer he shouldn't be 'worn out' after two songs.

the problem is that the key is too high. The high notes are just where the joint between his falsetto and his normal speaking voice and that's making it really hard for him to hit the high notes the way he's trying to. I don't know how much vocal training he's had with a proper teacher, but I think he needs more of it.

@MCRloveGD92 Yeah but you're not thinking of the fact there's lights and stuff in there so its probably hot.... it doesn't matter about how high the notes are, if you're putting THAT much effort and love into every song then of course you're gonna get worn out or whatever word you wanna use.

I can understand if the different setting than the normal live stage is making the nergy lower and therefore the performance not 100%, but he shouldn't be bother 'heat' when he's normally running around dancing on stage and he can do a full set, hitting most notes.

I think he sounds fine live. No one sounds perfect because it's not edited and what not. But either way cd or live i love the way he sound. And I'm really liking the new hair color. :) yay Go Gerard.

@alex2542 I think when they're in something like this and not recording for an album, he misses some of the passion of playing live. I mean, I saw them live in October ('10) and he puts so much more into it live than studio type things. But this is still a good version :D

@alex2542 Ive heard this song live and he can definitely sing and sing it well - He sounds like his voice is strained - as a singer myself -I know that if you over use your voice that can happen

He is an amazing singer and great live

but every artist has their times when their voice is quite worn out ...
