This was one of two episodes that proved, without a doubt, that The Transformers and G.I. Joe existed in the same universe, since the Oktober Guard was in action at the beginning of the episode. I wonder if that was Daina, second-in command of the Oktober Guard on the plane that was shot down? The other episode that proves that The Transformers and G.I. Joe existed in the same universe was, of course, "Only Human", as a much older Cobra Commander was that episode's headliner.
