I'm an Essendon supporter and I have always loved Chris Grant and the way he went about his game.

He was always consistent and led the dogs to back to back prelims.

It was such a shame for Grant's demise late in his career.

I feel for him. Both Brownlow and Grand Final berth eluded him.

However he was suspended and did not deserve according to the rules.

With that I have always admired Rob Harvey for feeling so horrible and undeserving of that Brownlow.

No mate no one actually said Harvey didn't deserve the Brownlow. In fact he did have a great season like you said except Chris Grant polled more votes then what he did but because due to suspension Chris wasn't eligible to receive the brownlow so it was handed to the player who polled the second most votes which is Harvey.

Say what you want but Chris that year had a blinder and as good a year as I have ever seen.

Reason why I responded with this Video to your Harvey one is because they are both very similar in the way they played passionately for their club both on and off the field.

He will always be a true champion, humble and sincere. His presence on the ground will be missed greatly. Many other players of today could take a leaf outta Chris' book... And as for that NASTY UGLY LOW LIFE Ian Collins,who robbed him of his much deserved brownlow,can never rob him of the love and respect he earned througout his career..

I'm trying to get some live footage together into a tribute to Chris, But it's hard as there is so much to go through and so much to leave out lol.. Try keeping it under 10min is hard..

It was just a shame he left us with no big tribute, Now we know he doesn't like that, But we still wanted to give it to him.
