I have to say that i dont like Tokyo Marui for their VSR rifles. The trigger is a very bad design that pushes the cylinder up inside the chamber when its cocked making it less and less smooth to cock over time as the washers in there get worn down, and the trigger takes the force of holding back the spring on its weakest point. The barrel is also loose and wobbly as it dosent screw in tight and in my opinion, wobbly loose barrel and the words "Sniper Rifle" just dont go together.

There's a FPS/juole limit in Japan. TM airsoft guns are likely imported from Japan, so you will have to do some upgrading if you want to increase the FPS. Plus, the quality of externals and internals are excellent.

The beauty of Tokyo Maruis is the quality of the internals and the technology. FPS does not determine quality, like Tim said. Plus, Maruis can be upgraded and modified to your heart's content so if you're willing to spend some cha ching, you can have a Marui with 500 FPS.

Gas guns cannot have the FPS increased. you can buy a larger recoil spring and guide spring, but It will only make the slide go foward with a better noise. DO YOUR RESEARCH.

@mipyman2 jg gears are good, but the guns break frequently because they don't have the time, and the care that the TMs have, the TMs are some of the smoothest guns on the market, JGs don't run smoothly because of that, all in all, you are going to spend either 150 bucks in repairs (JG) or 150 in upgrades(JG +TM) so yeah, you end up paying the same amount anyway. I like JG, especially their newer ones, but I LOVE TM

FPS definitaly isnt everything and even with 300 fps this can probably match the UTG range with better consistency and with a similar spring would destroy clone brands. If your gonna be a sniper buy a quality gun, it"ll serve you much better always.

Tokio Marui weapons are reguraly very weak, If I buy a sniper rifle It should be clearyl stronger than AEGs, the sniper is slow but strong and if the sniper like this is even weaker than average AEGs (around 1.5J) its useless as a sniper and AEG players will spray you away form the battlefield.
