  • Why do our educators complain about classes larger than 30 when Mr. Wizard preferred classrooms of over a million? He welcomed broadcasting.

Our educations system should learn a little about mass media(tv) and how it can improve content delivery. Local control should mean for parents, not teachers.

  • If our university system is so great, why do students face serious debt in order to get it? I would look for ways to reduce the costs. It shouldn't be so tough. Look at the improvements and cost reduction in personal computers!!! These are great informational tools that our educators have refused to utilize except to pad their own pockets.

Look at Wikipedia and 1 million free books from Google. Information should be cheap with such technology tools as we have. Look at cell phones & video games.

  • The IMPACT evaluations are BIASED and lead to FAVORITISM ! Mean-spirited and UNFAIR!

The majority of the teachers fired were OLDER, BLACK WOMEN who had a vested interest in the community. They were fully credentialled and had years of experience.

They were replaced with YOUNG, WHITE, inexperienced kids who were temporary "slumming" through the ghetto.

    BLATANT DISCRIMINATION and OUTRIGHT RACISM!

Michelle Rhee has NO RESPECT for teachers, and often refers to them with disdain!

  • College professors will tell you the students today can barely write proper English.

    They know nothing about government.

The professors are mostly Jew, Atheist, anit-American POVERTY level FREAKS that are into PORN, (including child porn) and marxism.

  • i wonder if they (professors) are like that because there is no one else willing to do their job

  • What a freakin' nightmare cabal of sinister people in this video!!!! Who's a liberal? Who's a conservative? Who's a communist? We all know the answer.

  • You misunderstand the comments of the talented Newtie. When you lift caps on charters, you allow "STATES" to increase the number of "PRIVATE" schools. This is not meant to be a personal attack on you, but maybe you fall into the additional education for 20's and 30's somethings that Newtie was calling for. Part of being a good steward of knowledge is knowing the subject you're speaking of.

  • As long as the teachers' union controls the Democratic party, there will be no true education reform. Newt's going to have to work for at least another 26 years.

  • I know a GREAT way to fix our K-12 public education system: DECENTRALIZE and marketize it! I mean, look at the universities. We have the best universities in the world. And you know why? Because we give the professors great merit pay, we hire the best qualified people, and the universities aren't hampered down by excessive regulations or teachers' unions. Even public universities aren't that bad. I go to one myself (University of Missouri).

  • i like ur idea

  • I sure hope Gingrich doesn't buy into any of the liberal bullcrap "solutions" that Sharpton probably presented. Lol. Why the hell is a great guy like Gingrich teaming up with a jackass race-baiter like Al Sharpton? He should team up with REAL experts. Sharpton's no expert. Neither is Jesse Jackson. All Sharpton has done is make a career out of constantly calling out white folks for fake racism and bitch and whine about how blacks are being "held down" by "the man."

  • sharpton actually agrees with newt on education

  • We can do wonders for our education system if we introduce market principles and competition into the public schools. Let them COMPETE properly with private schools. If private schools can do it better, the public ones will hav eto shut down. Either put up or shut up. I'm tired of bureaucrats continuously propping up bad schools and claiming that "We just need a little more money" to fix things, and things then just get even worse. Now Obama wants to end the dc vouchers. THE FUCK

  • So long as we consentrate on non-biased education instead of making our K-12, Colleges and Universities indoctination centers for political agendas, fix that and I'm all for it.

  • I totally and completely agree.
