I also get a canker soar once in a while, but really the best way to bring the pain down to zero and make it disappear in about 3 days is applying plenty of salt right onto the canker soar, keep it on for about 2 minutes, it has to stay on for a little while, otherwise it won't help as much, it will burn like hell but it's worth it. i do that as soon as i notice the canker soar, then once in the morning and again at night time before going to bed until it goes away completely. Hope it helps you
