  • Price of gas in this movie $1.05. You can't see it here but you can see the sign in the widescreen version.

  • The aliens must be disappointed when they come here, seeing the shallow state of affairs, the elites running the world with the "little people" at their beck and call. I have always pointed out to my kids, who make fun of me at this point having heard it so many times, that the animal kingdom is more intelligent than man. At least predator and prey can respect eachother, drinking from the same watering hole, then going about their business ...you tube search the crow and the kitten as an example.

  • I always use this saying with my Fiance, she gets a kick out of it, LOL

  • @texascrowbar76 agreed... we consume and destroy and populate at a rapid phase.

  • Classic

  • Great movie, love it : )

  • Jeff Bridges is so good-looking. He should be cloned and put up for sale. I'll have two, plz.

  • gas

  • "No. I do not understand. How can car need energy so soon?"

  • Great character actor Mickey Jones at the end.

  • This Gas Station was in Manchester Tennessee off I24 at exit 105. It was destroyed in 2001 when a Tornado hit it.

  • @RoryMeans a real shame i would have loved to vist,great film

  • @RoryMeans Hmmm, very interesting . . .

  • in this case swallow a toxic dosis of antiviral medicine, retarded hypocrate.

  • They are talking in metaphors about getting an erection and keeping one going! OMG this guy is freakin retarded, no I don't get it

  • "Kidda nappud."

    "What?"

    "What is kidda nappud."

  • The aliens are probably thinking the same thing about us, buddy. Why don't we come and visit them, they complain, as though they were our mothers in a carehome or something. The real reason the aliens aren't visiting us is because they can't traverse the colossal gulfs of interstellar space any more than we can.

  • @unsightly "oceans of "time"", maybe a bigger problem the we can imagine. real space exploration isnt so simple as a star trek episode.

  • "Gas" lol

  • una pelicula muy hermosa muy buena

  • Gas ! Fucking $ 3.64

  • Jeff is soo handsome here *yum* o_O

  • I definitely believe in aliens and I truly feel this is how they would view us if visited earth.

It's a beautiful scenario because I'd like to believe that there are peaceful aliens.

  • Gotta love location filming so much more realistic than studio or CGI.

  • Jeff Bridges truly moves like an alien with his tight posture and bird-like head movements

  • and the voice.

  • karen allen is the most beautiful human being ever to walk the earth

  • lol I wouldnt go that far, but at the end of the film she looks stunning when she's watching Starman go up into the ship

  • The Dutch apple pie bit was good and wasn't he partial to cherry cobbler (whatever that is) too? Something very special about that film. One in a million.

  • A sequel was written back in 98, shame it was never made.

    H1

  • lol funny one of my favs -_-

  • Starman was one of the BEST films ever! Love how he ends up connecting the "take it easy" part later on from that scene. ^_^

  • I like the part about the dutch apple pie

  • i like very much this movie, can somoene tell me the name of the music?

  • I liked the bit where the Starman brought the deer back to life and gave the finger to the filthy savage who had killed it. If only life really was like that.

    Great film.

  • that was a great scene, it's one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen in a movie, it was so gracefully acted out and the soundtrack was perfect :)

  • Yes, if only. There's a similar scene like that in Powder, but perhaps sadder.
