Besides, the Killing Joke was the only source material Ledger had, he said that he just couldn't read the comics. Not that it makes him bad, but it certainly doesn't put you in any position to bash the Burton films. Besides, there's more people mindlessly "worshipping" Ledger, as opposed to giving Jack his props.
