For Pro Tools, you need either Digidesign hardware or m-audio hardware. It does not require a separate sound card outside of that besides the one that already came with your computer. The fantom and any keyboard runs fine in Pro Tools. You would just need 1/4" cables to plug from the back of the fantom into the digidesign hardware (mbox, 003 rack, HD rack, etc..)

We actually used a mix of Reason and Pro Tools. The drums were sequenced in Reason and the sounds we played on the keyboard were recorded straight into Pro Tools. You can actually run Pro Tools and Reason together. Let me know if you got questions on how to do that.
