After searching 34 years for this music, I finally found it here. It brings back a lot of good memories. I was a teenager watching the series on television and was totally captivated by it. The tune was for me one of the most beautfiful I've ever heard. Thank you for sharing it!

Me pregunto qué parentesco habrá entre Rafael Bardem Jr. y Xavier Bardem, porque el bueno de "Harbert", que yo sepa, no siguió de actor. ¿Son hermanos? Saludos cordiales.

Roikale95 hi again from Lima Perú. I guess that a great part of the incantatorial magic of this series comes from the extraordinary soundtrack by G. Ferrio. Compare with the other series about this novel (from Hollywood all of them) & one can note the other soundtracks fit for usual adventure movies, where only action accounts, but Ferrio's music evokes the ineffable poetry of the Nature and the open seas. Vì estaserie cuando tenía aproximadamente 10 u 11 años (ahora tengo 41), y loque mas recuerdo es éste tema musical y parte de la serie, precioso. Una joya musical.

Esta musica. Significa muchos recuerdos de niñez para muchos. Yo lo he encontrado hoy y no he podido contener las lagrimas porque es una musica que llega al alma y el corazon. Como esta serie con Omar Sharif no hubo otra. Verla en 1977 me trae muchos y lindos recuerdos de infancia yo no dormia sino escucha la musica y aprendi a tocar con ella. @neskuma I ´ ve got the same feeling. This melody and serie was deep inside of me since end of 70´s. Since then I hear it for first time. Sweet childhood...... Unforgettable. Italians Ferrio or Morricone are really artist. They can touch your heart as nobody else.
