I think this is 65's best tune, its hard to find on things like spotify or to download but its so awesome. Listen to it in a pitch black room with proper base and speakers and imagine the music isnt coming from the speakers.... its just ... inside your head? haha wierd but AMAAZING

i know what you mean. i track oldskool style with modplug tracker, and i've made some decent drum parts, but whenever i hear a song like this, i think, "i should totally lay down a mad beat like this", then when i sit down to do it, I make about 4 seconds worth and then give up.

The first bit (with the blue bars) was decent, the rest didn't seem to match up to the music at all, and looked like the WMP Visualizations.

I'd recommend trying After Effects, and using the audio-keyframes and expressions (Since youtube wont let me post URL's in comments, search google for : Adobe After Effects audio keyframes), which would cut down on the amount of tedious frame-by-frame fiddling
