  • Those aren't the

    right lyrics

  • Eric Burdon's music had a huge impact on other musicians --!!---Bon Jovi also did "The house of The Rising sun ---

  • God Bless these pants Jon... And you guys, of course.

  • Good singer, Good musicians and Good cover

  • @rivariad I, for some reason, love the faces jon makes when he rips his balls off here

  • Dudes, chill out!!! Good or bad, the're encouraging a generation to listen to quality music and frankly ......job well done..............................x

  • this is a disgrace.

    he said the wrong lyrics.

Bon Jovi says- Some day i'll treat you real kind.

The actual lyrics are-Some day i'll treat you real fine.

  • Does does really matter? This is music, not brain surgery. I think they did real good.

  • @wilchillsHIGH

Does does really matter? This is music, not brain surgery. I think they did real good.

  • @wilchillsHIGH wow, what a sin !

  • its alright.the meaning is still the same anyway.

  • This video comes from a presentation from the 90´s, and this is one of the best parts of it. Bon Jovi were then a rock and roll band, now sounds like Beyonce . .

  • anyone notice the mic slip at 5:21 ?

  • Comment removed

  • ive got this on vhs!

  • I hope Bon jovi sends his thanks to The Animals - who made this song originally in the 60´ties

  • I just heard that EB & the Animals were not the orginal artists--it came from a song written and performed in 1928.

  • Thankyou- That´s even more interesting; Do you know more about it? Facts like this are always good to know.Still iit is a good song with strong lyrics.

  • I read it on another youtube version--i'll try to find it --i think they named the artist.

  • @controlburn These 2 songs are by The Animals. Its a medley of Its My Life and Weve Gotta Get Out of This Place

  • 1000 parts better, than the smae named somg, they recorded some years later...here, they were a ROCK Band...now they are FUCKIN' Pop

  • Also loved when he sang with Eric B. of the animals--classic

  • This was an underrated show...

  • Oh yeah! He's hot alright. One of the few men who just keeps getting better with age. Love watching Jon "work it."

  • omgosshhhhhhh he so hot makes me wat t go OooOOooOOOOOOoOOoOoOo

  • badass performance love it!bon jovi in those years were great..great cover of the animals!thanks for sharing!

  • Yeah!!! You do a great job. Thnx for posting.

  • Perfekt.

  • i love this performance!!!!

  • I adofre the bass line in this!!!

  • Jon is soo fucking hot in this clip. I was 4 when this special was on TV, by the way.

  • Does anyone know that Eric Burden appeared as a guest at a concert with Jon Bonjovi? It's on You Tube somewhere! He and Bon Jovi sing either this one, or "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place". It was quite a show, and Eric Burden was still a bundle of energy! I think it was in the 90s sometime.

  • i love these guys so much

  • awesome

  • i'm kinda wondering what bon jovi's trying to do. is he trying to make a pun or something because the song title is the same? because he so should have left it to eric burdon and the animals...

    xXACCEBXx

  • Eh? This performance is 8 years before Bon Jovi's version was recorded. A bit of information for you, as you're obviously unaware: Bon Jovi are a BAND.

  • this comment was not me it was my sister.....

    /i might hurt her

    probly not

  • good song. i love bon jovi!!!!

  • Umm, the title of the vid is "It's My Life, We gotta Get outa this place". Where's "It's My Life"???

  • uhmm in the beginning of the video?

  • Ummm... "It's My Life" was a song recorded by The Animals long ago and far away... search YouTube for their video of the song... or... just enjoy Bon Jovi's version

  • It's my life is the first half of the vid. the second half is we gotta get out of this place

  • The Aussie band The Angels cover it better!

  • Animals are better. But this Jersey boy is..not bad, huh!

  • When was this then?

  • june 3rd 1993

  • When was this?

  • animals are better

  • Very good!! Rock'n'roll baby!!

  • Can anyone tell me, who has written this song?

  • Eric Burdon - "The Animals" from 1962

  • bienchen47 please ignore the the disinformation from jeffm810. "It's My Life" was composed by Roger Atkins and Carl D'Errico and recorded as a 1965 hit single by The Animals.

  • There are 2 kinds of cover versions: genuine tributes that bring fresh artistry, and me-too wannabes. Everyone is free to judge this cover by Bon Jovi. I was mostly confused: he is a jittery clown compared to Eric Burden (Animals), he seems to be trying to be Mick Jagger and winds up looking like Morten Harket (a-ha). But it was a fair stage show (with synced backing?) and any groupie girl that wants to scream at a poseur in ear rings - here's your boy.

  • cuddlyable3.. jon doesn't wanna look like anyone.. he's more famous than a-ha and the animals combined.. other artist wanna look like him.. tell me how he can possibly sell 100 million albums with his amazing band? eat that..

  • Burden was blues, Jovi is not. Animals during their time were very popular, they had much more competition. It is an interesting cover, but I like the original better.

  • Synced backing?! This obviously comes from a clown who's never seen a Bon Jovi concert. The artistry of the band has often been questioned, there musicianship and ability to put on a live show hasn't. Jon's voice he stripes anything Eric Burden has ever produced. Go see the version of them dueting on these songs and you'll see that there's one guy who should have quit a long long time ago. Bon Jovi are more relevant nowadays than The Animals ever were.

  • RichieW2001 learn how to spell THEIR musicianship.

  • You pick me up on a grammatical typographical error and ignore the rest of the post? That figures. You evidently have nothing to back up your bastardised opinion of a band you know NOTHING about. I expect nothing better from you.

  • this was rockin!!

  • Oh boah! my heart goes bum! I know this version of Jon but don't no from where. I'd like to get it!

  • This is great! I love "An Evening with Bon Jovi"!

  • Amazing.
