All those big named people, clearly there for self-promotion, every single one of their acts with the exception of the Who, were terrible, all for themselves, and then come along Extreme who do th right thing and perform tribute to queen and freddie and involving the audience, and yet those big names get onto the DVD and Extreme don't. Oh man, I remember this when it first aired. It was great to see Extreme own the entire show (the George Michael/Elton John one was the only other memorable performance that day). Nuno jamming on Another Bites The Dust. Hearing his guitar come sweeping in on Radio Gaga still sends chills up my spine, as well as the "anywhere the wind blows" part at the end. Brilliant stuff. Definitely a highlight during Extreme's popularity.

Why on earth did they not put this on the DVD?!! Can't think of any logical reason! They outshone everyone else by far, apartb from maybe George Michael. Maybe that's why it wasn;t put on??? (But GM was). Extreme performed some off Queen's biggest hits and it's not on the DVD!!!!!!!! They really should reissue another version, maybe for the 20th anniversary of Freddie's death next year (can you believe it's that long?)

I got to say this was very energetic I love this perfomance, in not an Extreme fan, but of these guys claim they're Queen influence they have every right to say so. Gary reminded me of Freddie in a way, his energy and crowd interaction and even Brian said so himself. Those Queen "influenced" Bands like My Chemical Romance can learn from Extreme

Awesome band and awesome performance. "III Sides To Every Story" is my favorite Extreme album and one of my all-time favorites. That compilation was a brilliant work of art and really showed the incredible chemistry between Gary and Nuno. It's definitely a musician's album. It's unfortunate that idiots like Kanye and the Black Eyed Piss-ants with their Autotune bastardizations of "music" rule the airwaves.....REAL musicians rule!

I remember what a big deal this was and how stunned I was at Extreme's performance... and my subsequent disappointment in the rest of the evening. Also, if you go on Amazon and look at reviews for this DVD, pretty much everyone complains that Extreme's performance is absent.

Extreme has always been one of my favorite bands, but this proves just how truly great and special they are. The end of "Radio Ga Ga" where the ENTIRE crowd is clapping together sends chills up my spine and gives me goosebumps everytime I see it. Why this was never included on the DVD I have NO idea!

Its a custom guitar build by some luthier, not a brand-name guitar.

It is a guitar made by Jim Mouradian, it is the guitar version of the bass that Pat was playing. The shape is the letter C and S and stands for Chris Squire from the band Yes, He was Jim Mouradians favorite bass player and Jim originally made it for him.

Regarding Extreme's Performance: As far as most people are concerned, one band and one artist that day had their best performance ever. Extreme and George Michael. This was frighteningly close to the real thing if Queen had taken the stage, and, considering the circumstances, maybe better than the real thing. This is how you pay tribute to an amazing artist. Freddie was smiling down on Extreme that day.
