  • For a test - wow - looks sweet !! Very good indeed !!

  • That is superb!! It makes me wanna try animation!!

  • That's very nice work. Do you use Mo-cap to get the dance moves on the (I'm guessing Poser) model? Or did you go through the trouble of doing it all by keyframing, or what?

  • @huzdaman100 Thanks, It was done with aniMate, in DAZ Studio. You could say that were Mo-caps, sort of.

  • sexyy !NICE JOB !

  • wowee, must have been b*tch job to animate all those dance movements...

  • how do you make the floor look glowy? I can't figure out how to make glowy things...

  • @CinnamonWithATwist The floor was made of an avi movie of a music program. The reflection however, was done by flipping the dancing girl, and making it transparant. I don't know of it will help, but try it out with the funcions of the layer blending mode...

  • @DutchWorkingMan TT,TT I don't have a layer blending mode... I only have anime studio debut... oh well, I'll try to find my own way...

  • TT,TT I wish I could make something like that... my videos all suck... plus I only have debut...

  • @CinnamonWithATwist Just keep practicing :) .... and a lot of time and money 'sigh'.

  • Might sound crazy but I like the floor. Good job...

  • NO WAY! HOW IS THAT ANIME STUDIO?? its just too awesome! great job!

  • bravo , good job i loved it.

  • Thanks!

  • how did you use anime studio to do this?

  • They are three imported movie files. The dancing girl had an alpha channel. The reflection of the girl was the same file, only mirrored. I created two bones for the background movie an animated it by hand.

  • Hey, that's great work! I am always exited to see some cell-shaded anime rendering. How did you do the background? Is that a feature of anime studio that you are using?

I would like to know your opinion on how useful AniMate is.

  • Hey animatgital,

I have posted the answers in your Renderosity mail.

  • Yeah, it looks and sounds and plays a lot better at high res. Did you use a Motion Capture or sync it yourself? 0:55 syncs up amazingly well with the music. I hate you because there is no pokethrough or clipping or anything ... well, I was wrong, the forearm clips through the chest at 1:15. This is a BVH, right?

  • Yep, it's BVH, or sort of. It's done with aniMate, that you can find at DAZ. And the clipping, aniMate was not designed to work well with Aiko, only with V4.
