That's very nice work. Do you use Mo-cap to get the dance moves on the (I'm guessing Poser) model? Or did you go through the trouble of doing it all by keyframing, or what?
@CinnamonWithATwist The floor was made of an avi movie of a music program. The reflection however, was done by flipping the dancing girl, and making it transparant. I don't know of it will help, but try it out with the funcions of the layer blending mode...
They are three imported movie files. The dancing girl had an alpha channel. The reflection of the girl was the same file, only mirrored. I created two bones for the background movie an animated it by hand.
Hey, that's great work! I am always exited to see some cell-shaded anime rendering. How did you do the background? Is that a feature of anime studio that you are using?
I would like to know your opinion on how useful AniMate is.
Yeah, it looks and sounds and plays a lot better at high res. Did you use a Motion Capture or sync it yourself? 0:55 syncs up amazingly well with the music. I hate you because there is no pokethrough or clipping or anything ... well, I was wrong, the forearm clips through the chest at 1:15. This is a BVH, right?
Yep, it's BVH, or sort of. It's done with aniMate, that you can find at DAZ. And the clipping, aniMate was not designed to work well with Aiko, only with V4.
For a test - wow - looks sweet !! Very good indeed !!
