i know he loves football and it was just so hard for him to officially retire, but i would have way rather retired from GB a few years back and have a great reputation then to continue on and have my last play look like this, and plus having it ended by THE BILLS. you cant change the past, but i did have a weird feeling that summer favre retired and decided to start up again. and now looks what happened.

@pokepo11 - Well, considering Favre is playing with broken ankles and elbow tendinitis, probably fueled by his huge ego, it was only a matter of time until he got a hit that knocked the sense out of him. There is such as thing as KARMA, and after a magical season last year ended in typical Favre fashion, he got what he deserved for coming back yet again on pure ego... fuck favre.

Quite possibly the last pass of his career. I think Favre's waffling made him look like an ass, but it will be different not hearing about "Number 4" every Sunday. I remember when he hit the scene back when I was barely a teenager. A lot can be debated about Favre's ego, but nobody can dispute that his career was long and amazing.

I'm glad that's out of the way. Nobody in NFL history 20 years from now will remember anything positive Brett Favre did for the game since he won a chip for the Packers over a decade ago. He's washed up and past his prime. Justifying him playing a game he is no longer good at for ten more years when all he did was "come close" doesn't get it.

@cowudderz5 the remarkable thing about that hit was he when he was with the packers and he took hits like that, 9 x's out of 10 he would pop right back up and generally played alot better afterward because it was usually pissed at that point.
