  • Ross you rock you inspired me to base my book reasearch on work similar to yours and you beat me to the trippke clap...right on! Peace!

  • Wow! awesome videos, could you tell me what do you think about p90x? and p90x+? I have a friend who has the DVDs so he can loan them to me and I might use them starting the next week or so.

  • dam dats crazy,i never seen someone do that, reminds of zohan's pushups from dont mess wit da zohan lol

  • hey man. could you to a tutorial on doing just the single clap push up behind your back?

that would be really helpful :)

  • @maccahJake - Many of the same concepts can be used. For example, the resistance band method that is demonstrated in this video can be used for single claps as well.

  • Thanks, Ross, for making this freely available to all.

  • thanks ross im going to ry to acheive this exercise

  • Hey Ross. Could you do a tutorial video about jumping rope. But get more into things like how long the rope should be, what material rope/handles you like the most etc. That'd be really cool :)

  • @TheMrFunktastic2 - I have one vid up now that shows how to make a homemade handle. That's actually the rope/handle that I use the most. I also have a few articles on my main site (rosstraining) that discuss additional rope options. You may be able to find some useful info within. Shoot me an email if you need anything else.

  • Thanks for posting this. What a great progression!!! I love how you used the band. Great idea!!! You have inspired me to start practicing this!!! CT

  • This is some good advice. The only thing Ross didn't mention that I found helpful when learning to do triple-clap pushups is doing pushups where you try to explode as high as you can off the ground. This helped me extend the time during which I was in the air, giving me more time to do the claps.

  • awesome, thanks!

  • ross is the man

  • lol i can i just imagine everyone trying it now and slamming their faces into the ground

  • Very in-depth description. Thanks!!

  • Great explanation, thanks bud.

  • where can one buy a resistance band?

  • @LongBeach2SanDiego - Some of the more common suppliers include jump stretch, iron woody fitness, elitefts, etc. if you google any of these names, you should be able to find some suppliers.

  • @LongBeach2SanDiego Bodylastics Resistance Bands 388 lbs. of resistance ***Mega Resistance Family Edition with User Book, Bonus DVD and Six DVD Muscle Building Workout box set 129.99 on amazon

  • @LongBeach2SanDiego For a cheap alternative, you can use a used bicycle inner tube. Provides good resistance and elasticity at virtually no cost.

  • thanks ross
