@XerBlade Shiki CAN see the death of Shirou's NP. It is stated by Nasu AND the fact that Mystic Eye of Death Perception CAN indeed see the death of things that are not supposed to exist in the world. The only reason Shiki can't see Arcuied's death point in Ciel route is because Arc was at her most powerful form which grants immortality against everything, even to origin.

True. The only reason Archer's arm is a problem for Shirou at all in the first place is that its magic circuits are too powerful for him and therefore more than his body can handle.

Also, Shirou is fully capable of doing Nine Lives without Archer's arm with some practice.

That's a common myth among people who like to act like they know what they're talking about buit really don't. For one thing, Mystic Eyes of Death Perception still relies on Shiki's completely human physical ability to actually do anything. For another thing, Shiki can't see death on Noble Phantasms that aren't supposed to exist in the present age.

@XerBlade Shikis Mystic eyes of death perception can see the death of a noble phantasm, and Shiki has the athletic abilities of an olympic athlete. However in the case of a fight between shirou and Shiki it would end in mutual defeat where Shiki blows out his mind by using his eyes too much and Shirou would blow out his circuits from tracing too many swords. As long as Shirou keeps Shiki at a range Shiki cant hurt him. But Shiki can pierce the dots on a Noble phantasm to destroy them.

@knighttwentyk ...Also, Shirou wouldn't normally fry his circuits/mind/whatever from projecting too many swords. He'd just run out of prana whenever there is no mana source left around to use and be done with it (until his GAR creates a new type of prana out of nothing for him, but that's a story for another day...). That only happened in HF due to the whole issue with Archer's circuits overloading his own.

Berserker resurrects - big difference as noted by Nasu. He also mentioned that even Arc doesn't have A stats across the whole board like Berserker, much more Shiki who is stated to be unable to fight Servants in the first place.

Also mach 9 Nine Live Works or blast/ray NP > Shiki.

IIRC a servant is 1/4th of Arcueid power (while she is restrained).

Anyway, Shiki can't see any lines or points within a Servant. Even with Nanaya blood, he can't even be a match for a servant (that's what Nasu said).

Nine lives is originally a Noble Phantasm which he slew the Hydra with by shooting 9 enemy seeking arrows at godspeed (speed of sound?).

I believe that Emiya being a faker can't use the full potential of the NLBW and slashed 8 times instead of 9. The VN also stated that he slashed 8 times at godspeed.

I guess it depends on how you look at it. When Shirou uses it in the VN, he does 8 attacks (yes, i counted the blue lines a few weeks back when i was reading the MM forums) and than 1 more right after it to finish off the guy. The way i saw it, that last attack was still part of nine lives blade works due to the fact that he is still uses the weapon. Guess im wrong but, meh, hes more gar imo with 9 attacks so ill continue to believe that last attack was a part of it.

shiki<Shirou in terms of durability yes, but i think being brought from a assassin group and being "Hax" with a knife sounds pretty cool, but yes i do acknowledge shirou's GAR moments (personally i'd like to forget the "fate" shirou, nine bullet revolver? oh Yea~ah baby! XD) however it is a fact that shiki's "harem count" does owns shirou's at the moment however :P (remember shirou, Fate route = not good for the Gar lol)

Btw, hp0706 the Kanshou/Bakuya X3 combo was the technique he used to finish off DarkSaber from Heaven's Feel scenario in the visual novel. It's one of the endings which are abit more....dark

Quite, but not precisely. But still, I think it's safe we classify this 3X Kanshou/Bakuya combo as a special technique.

The only thing special is that there are many variations and depictions of it in different medias (Anime, Visual Novel, Versus Game)

I'd say it's a little different cuz if i remember correctly, Shirou slashed D.Saber's spine in X shape for the final slash in the game. Not to mention how Shirou still lost after cutting her into 4 like that(Since he literally lost his mind after the last Tracing.)
