The tricky thing with it is that they are made from Briar. Some are made from rosewood and such.
you can buy what are called briar ebauchons which are cut to size. but it would require the use of a band saw to get a rough outline before taking it to a chuck and lathe for the actual shaping. It might be something you would like to look into, I'm not sure. There are some good videos of it on here though!!
