Absolutely.

I'm an electrician and I've been lifted up by a machine similiar to the one in this video. (you can get special baskets for carrying humans to replace the bucket) so that I could install warehouse lights.

Its much quicker, easier and a hell of alot safer than using a ladder!!!

These machines are also highly manoeuvreable.

I've no idea what a one would cost but brand new in the UK, I reckon it could easily be 30 Grand.

yea i work on a farm nd wer lookin 2 trade in a machine 4 a new one looked at loads jcb nd merlo and so on but nothing really fitted right
