  • Crash strait down into ground. Maybe a bent mainshaft.

    FLAWLESS VICTORY!

(I had a similar incident with my 450 during a piro loop. Throttle hold and lots of tall grassy stuff even saved wood blades.)

  • @commodore88 - If you're doing piro loops with wooden blades and a 450...then you are a pro!

  • The T-Rex(s) are made out of like, solid carbon Fiber! there no way on eatrh you could demoslish a T-rex

  • @SecondCocacola: That's what you think... I've seen boom strikes total the entire bird with only the engine and shroud in one piece. Carbon fiber frames and booms are NOT indestructible. Their advantage are their strength and lightweight versus any metals.

  • Whats the averave flying time for the T-rex's?

  • @Zionson1 - depends on your set up and depends how rich or lean you're running. about 7 to 10 minutes.

Even 7 minutes is a long time. Most of us favor our electrics for the power but our flight times are 4 to 5 minutes running two 5000mah 6S 22.2V 40-50c. At least when I left the scene that's what we were running. Haven't flown my 15 helis in about 8 months now.

  • heh:) nice video

  • I dislike heli's, something that didn't like fly must fly, They have a buildin selfdistruction with a hard landing. No heli for me, I like planes they are smooth and build to fly.

  • @azezrtyuuiopqsdfghjk These aro no reasons to dislike heli's! If YOU can really bild heli's they won't crash, exept you can't fly them. They're only harder to fly!

    Nice video!

  • @Foxxxx12344 - thanks shot 4 years ago. Bad time of day around 6pm during the spring when the sun doesn't go down until 7:30PM. Shot with best technology cellphone at the time- mpeg 4. Lighting and video is crappy. Be nice if I can shoot this with my FX1000 HDV camcorder or my DSLR that shoots 1080P also. I've not touched my helis in a year though! Too many other priorities. ;)

  • This was shot in 2008. We were the 1st adapters of the 700. YES we are friends with ANDY at Align. (Assurance RC) Any other idiots want to post negative comments: You're posting to stuff that was shot 3 years ago despite what it says about "Added 1 year ago."

  • don't worry it's a t-rex 700.

    They cost a little 1200$.

    For me a day work.

  • whoaaaaa wooooow really? thanks for sharing! we REALLY needed to know that. FYI - you're about 3 years too late in posting this. Darin's T-Rex 700 at the time cost 2800.00 when all said and done. But if you're like one of those driving around in a souped up car from 1991 then yeah they're cheap for you LATE adapters.

  • FYI - this was also shot with MPEG 4 cell phone 3 YEARS AGO at 6PM in the evening! Yeah Ross I guess these late adapters get everything cheap. OooOoooOOOhhh A days work whhhhow WOW Wipeeeee!!! Someone is insecure about money. Anyone notice how rap stars have to stand next to bling bling Range Rovers for security. Whereas Green Day can ride around in a hooptie and feel secure. I guess when you got it, you don't need to flaunt it. (Unless of course y ou're insecure.)

  • must of pulled up before slammed it

  • Cool video. That is amazing how it survived with so little damage (if any). I also had a terrible unintentional blade stop auto and was a fast falling rock and could not believe how little broke. Frames were good, and engine was still idling! :-)

  • nitro is baned in my town...

  • That's pretty common.I do that.Looking at the wrong something at the wrong time.I dumped one once because a pair of helis were doing an in-flight refuel going over my yard and I couldn't take my eyes off them.lol....I'm still glad I got to see it.Even though I had a Trex 500 scattered all over the yard.

  • that's some nice synchro flying

  • the soft grassy stuff really helped out with the crash landing. should have been far worse. awesome flying.

  • LOL interesting perspective cackerrc - cool never thought of it that way!

  • LOL

In the beginning it looks like the two helicopters are acting like an atom.

  • u both are jedi pilots... truly skilled

  • I got the 450 sport now but considering going bigger cos my eyes are not what they used to be. Mind you that could be dangerous. I just put mine into a flip, pulled down on the stick and the motor died. I was shouting "F***ing battery!!!!. wasn't until it was a foot from hitting the floor that it suddenly clicked I wasn't in idle up. The only damage it did was a cracked canopy. (wont be forgetting that again)

  • Thats real kwl flying guys. What heli did u both start off with & how long u been flying?

  • Trex 450V2 ...Darren had been flying 1 year only. And Ross a few years.

  • @moviebizman

Im 18 and fly over 6 years now.

    but this is amazing ;)

  • I've been flying for 4 years. I started out with an EVO50 and still have it. Darren makes me sick he's only been flying for over 1 year and he has passed me by far.

  • Wow I like that 700 I get 1 but b 2 scared 2 fly it when they start getting more expensive lol I'm suprised the other guys heli didn't total itself good for him

  • WOW!!!! thats amazing hahaha nothing happened! o.O

  • Amazing how well the 600 survived that crash

  • I was surprised myself that the only damage was a broken tail blade, one collective ball link , front tail gear and I lost one paddle.

  • Comment removed

  • nNothin happend!

    That was cool!

  • Amazing how well the 600 survived that crash, did you need to replace blade grips, flybar, main shaft, main gear etc or any stuff like that??

  • I don't remember what Ross had to replace, but we were shocked at how minimal the damage was in for going straight into the ground tail first. The ground/mud was like quicksand around that time after a few storms. A crash like that normally would be in the 400 dollar repair range from CF frame damage, pipe, blades, boom, torque tube, tail gear front / rear, main gear, main shaft, canopy....
