  • Is that you Mothra? xD

  • Woah that giant man

  • That's definitely a polyphemus silk moth! And the antennae look female. It might have been shaking its wings to 'warm them up' for flight. You're lucky to see it during the day, they're really cool up close. Also, totally harmless.

  • I would rather have that than having a cockroach.

  • I found two of them on the nearby tennis court after a rainstorm. They were both looking horrible so I picked them up and took them home so they could dry out before releasing them again. One gave birth to hundreds of eggs, but both died before they were even dry enough to fly. The eggs hatched and I fed them. Many died but several survived and were released. Very big moths

  • danananananananananan MOTHMAN!!!!!!!!!

  • aww its scared

  • Wow, That's huge, When a moth comes flying into my house I'm always the one who has to catch them, or my father, Everyone else thinks they are scary, But they aren't :P I rather enjoy catching them, Bugs don't scare me very much, as long as I know they can't hurt me :) Except wasps, They are only scary when you spray their nest and they all come out in a swarm after you

  • Awe it's Beautiful!!;)

  • wow its huge but once i was in illinoios and i saw one bigger but i saw a lot of wierd animals there

  • I believe it is a Cecropia Moth - the largest moth in North America. They are a silk moth - I believe. They are HUGE!

  • My mum is terrified of moths. So something like this? She'd FREAK OUT!

  • In the Carolina's we have these huge bright green ones. They are so pretty.

  • a cute moth but why does its ears look like leafs?!?

  • That's quite a large moth...the pattern on her wings is quite eye-catching :)

  • Polyphemus moth. Beautiful.

  • I saw one of those above my outdoors door. I jumped 6 ft in air. Awsome

  • wow thats an awesome fat looking beautiful moth :D it will eat up your sweater like it aint nothing xD

  • @mrxexellent It is a big one, and I was amazed at how big its body was. It was so big, that when it flew away, we could see it for several hundred feet, and it looked like a bird or bat flying :)

  • i love spiders...(i've mentioned that in 3 of ur videos)

BUT I FREAKING HATE FLYING BUGS!

  • @s4mis4mi Ah come on...spiders are much worse than flying bugs :) When I was in the jungles of Okinawa Japan, we would find these flying bugs that looked just like house flies, only they were 2 to 3 inches long; they were freaky looking, and freaken huge!

Also, the spiders over there would catch birds in their giant spider webs strung between two palm trees...that's pretty freaky too :)

  • ITS SOOO CUTE

  • @Animefan4evaandeva Cute??? It looks like a giant flying monster :)

  • @BeanMeister22 I still say its cute just look at its fuzzy Antenie <3

  • im a doiuve

  • i don't understand why people would go ewww moths are very gental insects people normaly call them night time butterflys they have the same life cycle they just normaly come out at night thats all

  • @animallover220 Maybe so, but they are more like fat hairly butterflies than real butterflies. I think that is because they fly at night when it is cooler, whereas real butterflies are solar powered and need the heat of the sun to warm up their wings before they can fly.

  • @animallover220 first of all, theyre very very ugly, second of all, theyre all fuzzy and ive seen those things get squished their guts spil all over the place, and third of all, theyre ugly.

  • @Mi4SIMZ couldn't agree more lol

  • eew eew EW!!

  • That's not a moth it's an airplane!

  • @QuickJokeCartoon It is so big, when you see it flying, it looked like a bird or even a bat...or maybe a small two-seater airplane :)

  • @QuickJokeCartoon no it MOTH MAN

  • You should have put it in your terrarium. You could have tied a string to it's leg.

  • @VirtuallyAddicted I did not think of that:)

  • @VirtuallyAddicted After giving it some thought, it might have eaten one of those poor tiny lizards :)

  • @BeanMeister22 moths cant bite though

  • @BeanMeister22 and they are fluffy <3

  • Does that moth actually kill? Because I've seen moths like that before...

    JK xD

  • @AwKwArDtUrTlEsChEeSe

It might if it landed on your face when you were asleep:)

  • EEK!!! Dx

  • @melindagilman He was so big, did you see how big his body was?

  • :) he is a biggun!

    Thanks for sharing.

    Thumbs up buddy.

  • @WORRO01 We found him lurking on our robot, so we had to capture him for his own safety:) When he flew away, we could see him until he landed on that railcar; he was big.

  • Those sorts of moths eat huge spiders where I live, really needed one a few months back!

  • @leokimvideo If we found a moth that was big enough to eat your spider, we would have more to worry about than just your spider:) Mothra?

  • wow that is huge and its kind of creepy how it's furry

  • @melikeit23 It felt warm on my hand, and it vibrated.

  • wow put big moth balls out around your area there lol

  • @yesjenisback I don't know if that would help with a giant killer moth like this:)

  • mmmm....... Dinner

  • @superlegoman64 I used to know a guy who would eat any bug for 25 cents, and yes he was an adult. We would go find big nasty bugs, and then we would pay him, but we would not stay around to watch him eat them. But we knew that he did, because other people did stay and watch. It was just too gross for us to watch, but it was still funny and worth paying for.

  • Cool, we had one of those on the front lawn this morning!

  • @PlasmaDude47 Wow, I don't think I have ever seen a moth this big before. His body is huge, and when we set him free, you could see him fly away for quite some distance.

  • @BeanMeister22 The one I saw this morning wasn't quite as big as that one. I'd say half the size perhaps, maybe a young one I dunno. Still that was a cool moth!
