  • what song is it from 1. 57- 2.26

  • I so want to join the Cunard Clan. I would love to be in the family.

  • Good video, I cruised on qv last year and can't say how wonderful the whole experience was. Sailed qm2 this year and it was good but my heart is with qv. Master Bates was a good captain and Paul Wright was just as friendly. Looking forward to qe2 next year perhaps. msseracat

  • EPA!

    WHITE STAR SERVICE as well?

The White Star Line did not fail? ta written WHITE STAR SERVICE with the flag of White Star Line that will huh must have talked to went bankrupt and not bankrupt they should tar up together today muahaha! xD

  • Cunard = Simply the best!!

  • @Amiga1200Mark puhlease

  • I really like this clip. The Cunard employee's seem like some wonderful folks. I salute them!!

  • We are P&O/Princess Cruises!

Cunard is run and managed by P&O/Princess Cruises. The QV and QE are designed by Therese Anderson, lead designer for P&O..Cunard DOES NOT HAVE ITS OWN DESIGNERS!

Don't be fooled...Cunard is just a brand..no longer a company. A entity flying the British flag, owned by Americans and managed by its competition.

The Arison way of doing business.

  • owned by Carnival Corporation and plc an Anglo American thingy with Arab shareholder holding big stakes.

  • @homeric9 Its owned by Carnival not Princess/PO - confirmation of this is on their website and on wiki.........oh and i used to work for them........on the QM2! :)

  • @scottyc1983 Carnival owns Cunard along with P&O and Princess. After QM2's less than spectacular maiden season Carnival appointed the day to day management of Cunard to Princess. Since that time Princess staffs a variety of positions within Cunard including Commodore of Cunard. Now P&O/Princess design for Cunard, QV, QE and the last QM2 refit were over seen by Princess Lead Designer Therese Anderson.

As an employee of Cunard I am surprised you don't know all this.

  • @homeric9 im not an employee of Cunard.......I said I USED to work for them. So im right what I said then, that Princess don't own them. It's owned by Carnival. That's all I was saying. Then Carnival basically has divisions. I never mentioned anything about design either. I don't think you even read my comment properly - Carnival own them not Princess - simple as that! that's all I was saying.

  • @scottyc1983 And I said Cunard was run and managed by P&O/Princess..I never said Cunard was owned by P&O/Princess. I read your comment fine..

    Your point?

  • 4:52 white star survices woo go white star!!!

  • Not sure where you got that from. Since the debut of QM2 P&O/Princess manage all asepcts of operations for the QM2 and QV. P&O Head Designer Therese Anderson designed both the QV and QE. HAL operates itself but like Cunard, P&O and Princess all the Carnival brands share an economy of operation that make them predictable and kitchy and stale.

  • Actually, these people should be saying "We are Princess"

Princess P&O not only designed and manages the Queen Victoria but they run, manage and design everything for Cunard.

The Mickey Arison way of doing things..pass a buck to make a buck..

  • it is acually carnival who own manage and desogn all cunard vessles P&O own manage and design all Holland America fleet

  • I suggest you check your facts...Icky Vicky is such a predictable, stale vessel..as will her sister.

Been there, done that, seen before, the rubber stamped, P&O Managed and designed...Carnival cruise Line's Queen Victoria.

  • cunard move with the times P&O work with the design team but carnival make all final arrangments and for checking my facts i have freind who work aboard and for cunard so thats my facts checked and stamped with authenticity

  • Education.

P&O is THE design team for Cunard, Therese Anderson designs for P&O, Princess, P&O Australia. Farcus designs for Carnival and Costa, he dabbled in HAL interiors which did not review well. Cunard was managed by Princess/P&O out of Los Angeles. Cunard is now managed by P&O London. Cunard doesn't "move" as you say because technically it doesn't exist any longer (check Carnival's charter). Cunard is a brand within now. I think your friend is more taken with history than reality.

  • In addition to Cunard, Carnival Corporation & PLC also includes Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Carnival Cruise Line, Seabourn Cruise line, P&O Cruises, AIDA Cruises, Costa Cruises and Ocean Village.

CARNIVAL CORPORATION MANAGES ALL AS SAID IN THAT PARAGRAPH THATS FROM THE CUNARD WEBSITE

  • Ok..so are you looking to to show me you what you read off the Carnival website or are we still on the topic at hand?

Carnival also says they are the world's leading cruise line, it's a matter of opinion, and mine id they are not. I suggest you get away from what Carnival says and look/read at other online sources. One More time: Cunard is mamaned by P&O London. It was managed by P&O/Princess and was based in the "Cunard/Princess" Building in Los Angeles. Cunard President Carol Marlow

  • reports directly to P&O President Peter Ratcliff. Cunard's crew is rotated/exchanged within Princess/P&O Cruise crew staff. All interior components for Victoria and QE are handled by P&O/Princess head designer Therese Anderson. All financial decisions regarding any brand of Carnival is handled through Executive Committee at CCL in Miami. Cunard does not operate as a company anynore, it is a brand belonging to CCL. Now, this was found by conducting RESEARCH. Educate yourself please.

  • In the Mickey Arison way of doing business Cunard Lines and Princess Cruises now share the same President..Peter Shanks. I guess Mr. Shnaks can just insert the right line name in all his speaches.."Cunard is the best" or "Princess is the best"...ugh.

  • Carnival does the same thing for Holland America and Costa as well.

Interiors plucked from QM2 and P&O, predictable and stale. Carnival has watered down any distinction in their brands.

If it weren't for the red stack the Vicky would look like any other of the past clones sailing for Carnival.

Wake me when Carnival actually takes a chance on something.
