Anyone who still thinks noise gets pumped just watch a highlight, like romo's botched hold. You'll hear the crowd go off as the play develops. If they were pumping in noise it would be louder before the snap, and if they are pumping it in the crowd is still clearly louder, so either way the 12th man is ridiculously loud.

I dunno there might be something to this whole notion of pumping in noise...i mean its loud...but the crowd is equally as loud during the huddles or i this case way before the huddle...and that doesnt happen. The crowd goes at the same level for an entire minute...i dunno....if im wrong then hats off to the fans!

Yes, this stadium is downright awesome, as is the overall atmosphere. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but I love the stadium's uniqueness. The arhitecture is amazing. The towel-waving is great. The pregame ceremonies are inspirational. The team's distinct colors and uniforms contribute to the whole aforementioned uniqueness--and the way the field seems tucked into a valley almost says, "You overlook us because we're in the Pacific Northwest; now you're trapped in it!"

Fox Sports confirmed that the Seahawks vs. Panthers NFC Championship playoff game was indeed the loudest recorded SPORTING EVENT EVER MEASURED!

I was there...whistles noisemakers they use anything beside their own voice to make noise. Music over the loud speakers a few times while the skins had the ball as well. True fans stand up and cheer and yell and make thier own noise we dontneed to bring whistles...packers 38 seahawks 7
