I honestly gotta say Terra's only difficult to use because she lacks melee, however I think you seem to be trying to distance yourself too much... o_o
I beated Inward Chaos' Chaos with Cloud of Darkness (slammed him whole time with 0-Form against the the walls till he was dead - cheap and nooby, but quiet effective, used Mandragora as Esper), i also used an Accessories Combination which gave me additionally ~200% Brv Reg and ~50% Additional Ramm-Damage
Don't get me wrong, though, I loved your fights. Some of the attacks could simply be implemented better, though.
Also, anyone else notice that the opponents always dishes out much more higher Brave damage than you? I find it happen a lot.. and its making me depressed.. :(
well the "lufenian" armor is the hardest to get cuz its the best armor in the game...the armor shouldn't be hard if you use the "machine" armor and the with the help of the "item drop rate up" (bought in the PP Catalog) it shouldn't be that hard ^_^ good luck (the lufenian armor is only equipped to the computer in the "blackjack" duel colosseum level after you defeated Chaos in "inward chaos")
well lufenian doesn't just make armor i think they made a weapons as well so yeah... i have the strat. guide and it looks like most good weapons are 67-68. there is one at 68 but it will cost you your phys dmg by 100% i know its stupid...um the lufenian axe is 69. and also some of the characters special weapons that belong to them are 69. firion, cloud, cecil, tidus, garland, and sephiroth. garland has a 70 for his weapon. thats about it!
@FallenLyfe well the Stardust Rod gives "25% magic damage" so its only for magic damage...yeah i hate that too i guess thats what makes the game complicated, and yeah i agree about the damage but i never really use the "effect" things cuz i don't know what "effect" means? i mean if i did know then i would use it but i don't and thats what makes the computer hard. Dissidia is one of those on going games where you can still play and have fun. ^_^
The accessories "effect" thing is a booster that increases the stats of your basic accessories. For example, if the total "effect" is 2x and say your basic accessory gives +5% phys dmg. Instead of +5%, it would be +10%. If the effect is at 3x, it'd be +15%, and so on.
oh ok thanx alot ^_^ um...i guess thats explains why the AI attacks so high and the fact that they gain more attack cuz i saw that they equipped ultima weapon and gained 2 extra attack points with no red drops or red gem in their acc. list. well thanx anything you wanna know?

The game's called Final Fantasy Dissidia which includes, for the most part, the main characters of the Final Fantasy games. It also includes several of the final or near-final bosses. (I say this b/c in some cases they aren't aka FFIX with Kuja). Characters aren't able to double jump, that's actually just a spammable dodge, although if you use it wrong you can still get hit.
As continued in my previous reply, the main HP bar is that teal bar you see next to the character's picture. The numbers above the HP bar are "brave points".
Basically, the game has two attack styles executed by the 'Circle' and 'Square' buttons. The 'Circle' button transfers your opponent's Bravery onto your own, and 'Square' subtracts your opponent's health by your Bravery points. Also, the status effect 'Break' occurs when Bravery drops below 0.
When 'Break' occurs, stage bravery is transferred to your own Bravery count. This varies depending on the stage, most notably the Omega stages... but this explanation is getting too long so I'll end it here. ~Fallen

@Mythologick im gonna have to Thumbs Down you, i dont care if im only one person. Epic Fights include your opponent attempting to win which means they will try to evade your attacks, thus the missing 50 times, it wouldnt be epic if your opponent lost without having a chance to fight back!
mimic is good for characters such as cloud, gabranth and squall, but for those as sephiroth i prefer gilgamesh, cloud is pure dmg so he doesnt need amplifiers, squall can do a good work with ifrit or behemoth since he breaks guys quite easy

Personally, I tihnk that Seymour Guado should have replaced Jecht, cause Jecht was not evil at all. And a little more characters wouldve been nice, but overall its ok. =]
I thought that at first as well, but it actually DOES make more sense to put Jecht in, despite the fact that he's not evil.
I mean, Seymour was a bigger antagonist to Yuna. So if you put him in, then you'd have to have Yuna instead of Tidus. And Tidus had some serious father issues, so yeah.
Definitely agree that more characters would have been awesome. Probably would have had space issues to fit in more, but either way, I'm happy with the game.
I really prefer that idea to the Tidus/Jecht idea. I know why they did it, but I always thought Seymour made a better villain. He was crazy, evil, and just plain creepy. You could tell he was the villain right away when you first met him.
dissidia only features the main protagonist and antagonist seymour was just a add on to the story which really just is the beginning build up and the end climax both with jecht and tidus

theres gonna be a sequel to this game trust me on that. after FF13 comes out and FF13agito and FF13versus the'll have more then enough characters to add to the Dissidia franchise and of course have more of the oldies.
i think this game deserved more characters per installment - even one more character from each game would've been great. The absence of Tifa, Rinoa, Auron, Vincent, Sabin, Beatrix, etc. is kinda disappointing, even though it's great to see a game with all these characters together anyhow.

A lot of folks jumped on the FFVII band wagon too, after Advent Children came out. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it got publiticity, but it turned into a lot of Cloud Fangirlism, and not the good kind.
I really don't get why people complain about too many FF7 fans. The haters of that game seem to be the ones that speak ot loudly. I mean I do see many FF7 things with fan comments, but in almost every other instance where FF7 is related a huge crowd rises yellin "FF7 IS OVERRATED!!" well i gotta say, everyone who thinks a game is well known as a great game or a classic always has people who make it there goal to disagree.. its a good one but i think FF X (not X-2) is the best one.
Yeah I also enjoyed Final Fantasy X, it was actually the only real Final Fantasy I've ever played! It blew me away on my first playthrough, with the full voiceovers and CGI cutscenes lol!
What doesn't make sense. My first or second comment. I was under the impression that I was being very clear and direct, so do explain what you don't understand.
I myself love FF7 but it does have the weakest characters of the series. I felt nothing for them. It's certainly not the best game ever and I'm fed up of being ripped to shreds for saying it.
Terra is good but onion knight, warrior of light, tidus, squall, and frioniel are too. they have good combos and good attacks to inflict both alot of damage hp and bp wise. I think cloud is ok but hes so overused cuz of poplarity to be honest.
Terra, Firion, and Emperor Mateus have to be my favorite to play as, Dissidia-wise.
Terra has Tornado, Holy, Meteor, Water, and a nasty multi-casting EX Mode.
Firion is a fighter on the ground, and a mage in the air. His axe-toss and Blizzard spell are particularly nice.
The Emperor is just plain fun - A homing ball of death, land mines, air mines, mystic spell-circle-turret things, an electro-shock floor trap, and a REALLY. TRIPPY. EX. BURST. I am not kidding. Look it up.
Maybe so, however, remember that this is a world in which all Final Fantasy characters exist, which opens up the possibility of learning new magic they never had access to earlier. I mean, it looks to me that it was an Aero spell, seeing as how it didn't look like it was healing anyone. :P
nice to see terra is not useless in this game haha, i was worried they'd nerf the oldschool characters and make this game another fanservice for cloud and sephiroth fans

I got to say, without magic pot and stuff, you weren't have stand a chance. The gear difference is too big, and Cloud gear isn't at his best. Good job on the victory. Terra is a beast though, try to fight here level 9 level 105 on any pattern, you will have a hard time getting close to her, and with magic boasting gear, she can break you with one or two moves.
Yeah, I agree, I always try explaining to everyone how Terra was born with natural power to wield magic. Whereas Cloud was given his power, when he had the Mako experiments done on him by Hojo affectively giving him the strength as though he was a SOLDIER !st class even though prior to the experiments he wasn't strong enough.

I think the Lufenian weapons aren't as good as the Stardust Rod though.
It has a boost of +25%!

I hate how freaking annoying the computer AIs are with dodging and blocking! And their armor/damage being so high is getting overrated!!!!

theres gonna be a sequel to this game trust me on that. after FF13 comes out and FF13agito and FF13versus the'll have more then enough characters to add to the Dissidia franchise and of course have more of the oldies.

i think this game deserved more characters per installment - even one more character from each game would've been great. The absence of Tifa, Rinoa, Auron, Vincent, Sabin, Beatrix, etc. is kinda disappointing, even though it's great to see a game with all these characters together anyhow.

A lot of folks jumped on the FFVII band wagon too, after Advent Children came out. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it got publiticity, but it turned into a lot of Cloud Fangirlism, and not the good kind.

I really don't get why people complain about too many FF7 fans. The haters of that game seem to be the ones that speak ot loudly. I mean I do see many FF7 things with fan comments, but in almost every other instance where FF7 is related a huge crowd rises yellin "FF7 IS OVERRATED!!" "FUCK CLOUD HE IS LAME" "STUPID FF7 FANBOYS RUIN EVERYTHING!!!" "RANDOM GUY IS WAY BETTER THAN SEPHIROTH, HE SUCKS!!" and so on. I mean what the hell?

IMHO people just hate FF7 just to hate it and i dont really see why. Maybe its because of the fan base or because they dont want to admit its a great game who knows. I've seen alot of people rip it apart for no reason and havent even played the game and not playing the game kinda doesnt give the person an opinion it just makes them seem like an idiot. Yeah I also enjoyed Final Fantasy X, it was actually the only real Final Fantasy I've ever played! It blew me away on my first playthrough, with the full voiceovers and CGI cutscenes lol!

I myself love FF7 but it does have the weakest characters of the series. I felt nothing for them. It's certainly not the best game ever and I'm fed up of being ripped to shreds for saying it.

Terra is good but onion knight, warrior of light, tidus, squall, and frioniel are too. they have good combos and good attacks to inflict both alot of damage hp and bp wise. I think cloud is ok but hes so overused cuz of poplarity to be honest.

Terra, Firion, and Emperor Mateus have to be my favorite to play as, Dissidia-wise.
Terra has Tornado, Holy, Meteor, Water, and a nasty multi-casting EX Mode.
Firion is a fighter on the ground, and a mage in the air. His axe-toss and Blizzard spell are particularly nice.
The Emperor is just plain fun - A homing ball of death, land mines, air mines, mystic spell-circle-turret things, an electro-shock floor trap, and a REALLY. TRIPPY. EX. BURST. I am not kidding. Look it up.

Maybe so, however, remember that this is a world in which all Final Fantasy characters exist, which opens up the possibility of learning new magic they never had access to earlier. I mean, it looks to me that it was an Aero spell, seeing as how it didn't look like it was healing anyone. :P

for a lvl 100 character u sure have a low healt and u take a lot of damage try this it might help
in the character selection screen press triangle after that choose the second option u will be in ur inventory list in the bottom left of ur screen u will see four options choose the 4th option it will auto set the inventory you can use

And also en the OVA/special, Cloud is kind of they show that he is "special" and his power is no just becouse he has experimented with mako.
But well I loved to see Terra winning against Cloud, couse that pretty much how it should be, and not just make Cloud win for the fan-base, he is cool and all, but just becouse that, to many people over-rate him.

Im one of the so called Cloud fans:D but srsly you cant even compare the 2 tbh Terra is based on Long ranged attack rather than Close quarter attack like Cloud is so yes Terra would win but i wonder where Clouds Sword beam went?:D did they decide not to put it in the game? if so thats disappointing tbh;D would be awsome with some ranged attacks:D

I got to say, without magic pot and stuff, you weren't have stand a chance. The gear difference is too big, and Cloud gear isn't at his best. Good job on the victory. Terra is a beast though, try to fight here level 9 level 105 on any pattern, you will have a hard time getting close to her, and with magic boasting gear, she can break you with one or two moves.

Yeah, I agree, I always try explaining to everyone how Terra was born with natural power to wield magic. Whereas Cloud was given his power, when he had the Mako experiments done on him by Hojo affectively giving him the strength as though he was a SOLDIER !st class even though prior to the experiments he wasn't strong enough.
