I was approached by local police and the track maintenance crew filming this similar activity. It was tense for the cop blocked my vehicle. they thought I was an industrial spy working for BNSF RR
@blastpop what was odd about this is i was parked in a city park that happens to be next to the railroad tracks and all they were doing was tightening the bolts on the switching mechanism. He later told me some BNSF spies hide behind the bushes and take pictures. What a paranoid. All he had to do is wave at me when he saw me and i would have waved back . I have been challenged at airports also.
@WolfKotenberg - its not like you would learn how to loosen the bolts or something otherwise nefarious... I dunno- but I get strange looks anytime I take my video camera out - well let me change that, I get strange looks wherever I go with or without the camera... lol
