  • Yes, I loved this movie as well. Penn gives a great performance. The guy is cocky and wants badly to make sure everyone knows he is talented. Now in his inner self he knows he will never match D'jango. Serious inner conflicts. I could really relate to this character because I live to play guitar. I'm 55 and I can't remember not playing the guitar. I think I may have been born with it in my hand. I also love to shoot pool. There's something about a piece of wood in your hand!! It can come alive.

  • C'est dommage que le doigté de l'acteur n'ait strictement rien à voir avec les sons que l'on entend. C'est même ridicule. Mais j'aime pourtant le morceau, rendu célèbre par Lucienne Broyer.

    It's too bad that Penn is unable to finger the neck of the guitar believably. His fingers do not match the sounds that one hears. What a waste of a scene when you consider that it was produced by a musician, Woody Allen.
