What error? Sportsman pay for conservation. All outboard motors have to (by law) conform to epa standards. So stop commenting on things you know nothing about. esox like crap you have missed my point...on friday l will be going up to scotland for a weeks shark fishing,done from a boat using a combustion engine.on our crowded little island we still have fantastic fishing.you have a true wilderness and you do it a disservice by using it for formula one racing.you dont realise what you had until its gone.
In our "true wilderness" areas there are no motorized vehicles at all. Strictly canoe and foot access. What you are seeing is an urban waterway. I fish these areas in my bass boat and supply revenue with my fishing and boating licences to the Gov't agencies which keep our wilderness protected from logging, mining etc. Without this revenue stream big business would simply rape our land to feed the planets (inc. England) need for paper and raw resources. Does that settle our debate?

now were buddys,tell me who makes the best rods?l bought an avet reel(the smallest lever drag they make)for light line shark fishing,and want a compatable rod..we dont have the same range of boat rods as yourself.
I'm not all that familiar with saltwater equipment. My favorite bass rods are the IMX series by G. Loomis. Pretty expensive. But I believe they make saltwater equip. as well. Phenix a small co. in Cali. Also makes good rods, but they are hard to find.
well esox old boy my weeks shark fishing was a complete disaster..we only got one day out on the inshore marks because of terrible weather and meanwhile my wife and kids were flooded out by the worst rain ever recorded in my home county since records began. you may have seen it on the news.this is man made and thats why l rant.

Opening day was a write off here, a cold front blew through and shut down the bite. Are you near Murphy N.C.? Georgia is only about 10 minutes from where I'm thinking of. Just wondering if it's the same lake. Anyway, Bass fishing has been good in central Florida. I've caught a 12.11 & a 10.6 in the past 2 weeks. Both were released.
