  • Looks to me like you are trying to lock someone in. Isn't that the hallway behind you?

  • Entry Solution = 2$ hammer or, Rip off some trim from the background and stab your way through the door OR Fist and my personal fav, BOOT to center of hollow door. All solutions will take less than a second.

  • So many 'experts" seem to forget one thing: the weakest parts of the door structure are the tiny screws on the strike plate(s) and the door hinges. It's fairly easy for the average-sized burglar to kick in a deadbolted door- the metal bolt simply shatters the lightweight wood of the door jamb when kicked in. Also, the door can be kicked in or pried loose from the hinge side. Drive LONG SCREWS (at least 2 1/2") into the strikeplate and hinges to penetrate the door studs and secure the door.

  • you should've added the rest of the install-hence from the begaining to the end.

  • Hollow-core door with a deadbolt. Thats tight security.

  • haha I was thinking the same thing then I read the comments. That was a waste of a $69 lock ey?
