@wwjoshdew ok thank you for the quick reply and also i have mac and windows (not 7 its xp or some older version) and i was wondering on my windows do i have to install drivers for my tablet like not the ones in the package but custom ones for the tablet itself to enable root? Or can i just follow the steps on the video exactly?

@HINTONmtbnski if you do NOT apply today's update, then yes.. It will work.. There is not a one click root for macs yet

@mstanka0013 they replied to me on twitter and they are waiting for Asus to slow down with the updates. they don't want to KEEP having to find new root methods, when there is just going to be another update right around the corner that kills root! haha.

@mstanka0013 it should still work! and MAKE SURE you don't update your tablet yet! because the newest update that came out a couple days ago, breaks root! if you do get it rooted with 3.1, MAKE SURE you download OTA RootKeeper from the market and BACKUP your root! THEN you can update and restore your root!

@mstanka0013 ah, do you have the newest 9.4.2.11 update? Go to about tablet, and if you see 9.4.2.11, you can't root yet. They haven't posted thew new root method yet

@mstanka0013 nope. you don't lose anything, but gain everything! you will get to BACKUP your game saves and EVERYTHING! Like if you got really far in a game, or changed a million settings in an app... it restores your progress in a game, and all or your settings in each app. it's pretty awesome stuff!
