Dominican Vocation: different aspects of our life

This is the text of the office, a prayer to St Dominic:

"O lumen ecclesiae, doctor veritatis, rosa patiantiae, ebur castitatis, aquam sapientiae propinasti gratis, praedicator gratiae, nos iunge beatis"

After more than 10 years as an agnosti I came back to God and my "first" confession was with a Dominican, just because there was a convent right beside my home. Later I discovered their charisma and was SO fascinated by it, now I would like to be a lay Dominican. Preaching, contemplation and study is what I love most. I thank God that he let me know this Order.

well than we shall be brother beggars. I want to be a franciscan but St Francis and St Dominic were great friends and their orders do a lot of work and have a special fraternity between the two.
