There's no such thing as a "Christian country" in the west, in the same sense there are true islamic theocracies in the middle east- such as iran- where the death penalty is given over religious matters (apostasy, immodesty, homosexuality). In the west we stick to the only reasonable purpose for executing someone: as a penalty for murder. And I'll repeat, an American killing an American does not equate to, by virtue of them being Americans, "christians killing people in their own countries".
