I'm new to Spooks - been watching each series in order on Netflix. When you watch something in a compressed amount of time (1 or 2 eps/day) so that 9 seasons = a couple of months, it's really easy to see the continuity problems. I then tripped on this video - it's brilliant! Especially the references to his ex's, all his women were such cookie cutter characters. No amount of snappy filming techniques or passionate acting can make up for such shallow writing tricks. Enjoyed the laugh!
OMG, I just found this and it's absolutely wonderful! I LOVE the lyrics!!! Especially "...Trying to understand this plotline Is harder than doing astrophysics..." and "We're blogging and tweeting over this mess. And our frustrations exploded our heads..." But as we both know Lucas really isn't "to blame." It's those blasted writers!!! Grrrrrrr. Yay, you. BRAVO!! ;-)

We all miss the real Lucas :( The terrible ninth season was the great failure of the script writers.
