Thanks for the inspiration! I've been checking out your videos for a few months now. Today I went out and purchased a 20lbs kettlebell to begin with. I most definitely going to mimic your workout.
I have just started kettle bell (1 week) and I have a LOT of weight to lose - a lot more than you did! I'm 43. Can I ask what age you were when you started?
were you doing anything else in your weightloss routine or was it strictly or mostly kettlebell? I recently started to use the kettlebell, and have a few days of cardio. looking to cut 30lbs down to about 130.
What a great video, you guys are terrific! I just started kettlebells because I read they will especially increase my core strength, forearm strength, strength-endurance, and great for fat loss. Would you two strapping Ukrainian farmers agree with those claims? Could you make a video showing your exercises for pairs of kettlebells? Thanks for this one though - so many good ideas to add to my workouts!
I've been following Kettle Bells for about 7 years and you are indeed right about them being good for losing weight. What I should have said was how much weight have you lost? What have your results been? Instead I felt like teasing a bit.
@hdjcnfdj69 Normally I see kettlebells in different weights, I don't see pairs, would you recommend at least one pair for double workouts, what is your opinion on that.
Absolutely. We just didn't include them in this video, but exercises with two kettlebells at a time are an important part of the training. I have all my kettlebells in pairs.
they may be farmers. that would explain the non-human strength of the muscles in ther backs. anyone who has picked up lambs since he was twelve would have that kind of pliometric resistance... but very few of us, city animals. and i´m including elite athletes...
you could use gym chalk (magnesium carbonate or so must be the name of the substance... i´m not a native user of english). you can buy it in many drugstores really cheap, or you could buy this cubefied expensive presentation that american gymnasts use in the olimpics. when i don´t have any of them (and don´t want to spend money), i use some sand that i piked in a beach just to absorbe the moist; then i put it back in it´s box.
LMAO i just tried some of these moves with my 22kg kettles. my first attempt with the behind the back toss over the shoulder i belted my self in the head.... it really fucken hurts... nice fucken lump thanks alot.
Some people may be watching this and thinking how are can it be.... let me tell you the weight shock from releasing the weight and to grabing it again puts ALOT of strain on the body. These guys are absolute beasts.
Awesome displace of strength, dexterity and stability.
@HawkFan30 can I use kettlebells for strengthening young Athletes bet. 9-16 yrs or it will make them injuries as I have the same opinion that weight shocks from releasing and grabing make many trouble in muscles and plz I am talking about young Athletes (karate champs)
Learn basic moves first, learn the proper technique and move on to the most advanced ones. Proper form is very important. Do not attempt doing everything you see here right away! You can hurt yourself!
Sorry,I was referring to the other video of yours.the plate "ropes" U use to round your kettlebell at 2.22 and to pull it into the sand...great exercises!!
Now something that spilts men from boys.

The skills displayed in this video are amazing.
However the shorter guy is built like me around the middle and I consider myself on the fat side, was this video properly named?
