I got a similar netbook to boot gentoo using instructions provided on line by some dutch lady named Wendy but as my touchpad is busted I can't test the GUI. Do you know how I can persuade it to work with a USB mouse. Hardwares ok as the mouse works in CE.
yeah but they're merging the packets with community builds, so one could upload a program that compromises your system and boom your privacy is equal to none.
My AMD64 is a bit slower :) I have a old 2005 Gentoo Installation with broken dependencies and stuff. I'm working already for 2 months to fix this problem, like the update from python 2.5 to 2.7, the most of my installed packages are not in the portage tree anymore. Haha crap. I hope emptytree will fix it.
