Once you hear Fritz Wunderlich , Carreras remains ín his shadow. And he is not the only one!

You see how much effort he spends on the high notes. Besides a piece should always be sung in the original language. Otherwise all charm is lost! 3/3

I have always been against singers singing arias or songs not in the original language but here is a big excemption carreras made it beautifully.

Actually i agree...I think that some operettas would be the most best to sing by Englisch, specially not native Germanspeaking.

Unfortunately he's singing in english (the original is in german). Wonderful, anyway. I recommend the german version of Fritz Wunderlich, to you that want to see the original version.
