I landed in a lay back, feet on the board and rode for a couple seconds in the white wash trying to pop back up, but couldn't get back to vertical! Next time! :)

This has never been in a magazine in the usa, a jet ski magazine from japan ran a 1.5 inch shot of the highest part of the sequence and that is it... KUSTOM Airstrike did give it some props saying that it landed on video he could win the $50,000 purse!!

This debate that exists over tow-assisted / footstrapping etc.. is pointless! ...I challenge any surfer to dismiss this as a novelty approach to riding waves. This sequence is evidence of the future possibilities in our sport and also a direct reflection of what 'surfing' is all about .... expressionism !!!! ...thanks for the post and the info lopaka73.
