theres a lot of kids taking fgfs into a more bmx style, this dude keeps it gracefull, i feel its a more pure riding style that doesnt make people immediatly think why is he not on a bmx, this style seems to stem from embracing the benefits of a fixed gear and the flow it allows. Instead of doing all sorts of back hops to get a peg grind down, i see some killer riders but style is lacking. Mike chacon does some tricks that are bmx but he also operates in the style that seems correct. STYLE !

let me give you the run down....after 3 monthes (300+ miles fixie) you can do all the basics on a fixie 46-15 ratio...like skid stop, track stand and partial backward spin....after 6 monthes pure fixie about 1 and 1/2 or 560 degree backward spin on a bike,...its hard shit that unless your refined to riding fixiw,,,or your sponsporesed somehow is hard as shit...go to your local university and get some fixie friends fast cuz this shit is not tooo ez keo makes it ez ..im mares im a thug...

@KAKApoopooPEEPEE3 depends on the rim itself. some rims can fit presta valves and some can fit schraders. If you have velocity deep's or weinnmans deep v's they're made for presta valves (smaller hole in rim). It also depends on how deep the rim is. 30mm deep, 43mm deep, etc. Make sure to always buy the right size bike tube stem or you can't pump the tube!

Get a flip-flip hub and you have both. It's a very personal decision, in the end, which you will use more often. You have to get on the bikes and try them. No one can tell you which you should get, only you can decide. Go to a bike shop and ride the bikes.
